In regards to the economic growth of 1960s Hong Kong, there was an anecdote about Bonham Road where there were many beautiful houses. The socialites liked to unwind in an exclusive venue at Bonham Road during weekends. There was an overseas student who had just returned from his studies abroad, a businessman of a watch company, a banker, a shipbuilding expert and a college professor. Although they came from various backgrounds, they were well educated and they had savored different delicacies. Therefore, this venue became a spot of sharing experiences and enjoying life.
