$$$$•Californiana•4.8(10)Located in the heart of Santa Barbara Wine Country in the charming town of Los Alamos California at the site of the historic 1880s Junction Saloon, Plenty on Bell is a California bistro and scratch-kitchen celebrating the Central Coast’s agricultural bounty, local traditions, and warm hospitality. Acclaimed Chef Jesper Johansson — an early Los Alamos food pioneer who helped put the town on the map — serves seasonal, hand-crafted fare built around ingredients from our on-site garden, our owners’ local farm, and from nearby farmers, ranchers, anglers, and craft purveyors.
As a true scratch kitchen, much of our food is made from self-grown or local ingredients, from sourdough loaves and buns baked with organic flour milled daily to house-made jams, sauces, salsas, cultured butters, pasture-raised meats, and wild-caught fish.

We truly enjoyed our evening outside in the courtyard. They always go above and beyond making us feel so special. Our server, Raymond, was excellent! We were also so happy to be greeted by other Bell's staff who remembered us from previous visits. Brian helped us choose an excellent bottle of wine and Abigail surprised us and made sure we went home with some of our favorite bread. Their attention to detail makes Bell's an absolute stand out. We try to return every time we come into town. Bell's is a local gem! We try to introduce Bell's to all of our friends and family when we visit. Thank you for everything Bell's! Their knowledge and enthusiasm for the food permeates, from the boquerones to the cute little shrimp that holds down your bill. The menu is limber, so it is easy to craft many different meals, each journey just as exciting as the last. The wine list is a mix of local and foreign wines that is as fun, approachable, high quality and as intriguing as the restaurant itself. The Peruvian scallops are divine, truly a dish I crave often and my wife plans her work schedule around the fried chicken sandwich, making sure our reservations are early enough that it won’t have sold out. We love this restaurant. The paella, the Secreto (please keep it on the menu!) try it all, you can not go wrong. And do not skip dessert.
