When we look back at our journey, we see a story woven from hard work, persistence, and passion. A story rooted in family tradition, carried across an ocean, and shared at the dinner table, one plate at a time. Our founders, Federico Venturini and Chef Viola Tagliaferri, were born and raised in Italy. They grew up surrounded by the aromas of slow-simmered sauces, freshly baked bread, and the unmistakable warmth of true Italian hospitality. Cooking was never just about food, it was about gathering, memory, and love.
Their dedication to authenticity led to national recognition. In 2021, they were awarded Best Authentic Italian Restaurant in Arizona on the television program Little Big Italy.
Our goal is to share who we are.
To serve food that tastes like home.
To pour wine as if pouring for old friends.
At Pizzicata, we hope you enjoy our pizza, our pastas, our family recipes and our table.
But even more, we hope you feel at home. Because when you are here, you are part of our family.
