Originally known as Phoebe's Garden Café, the restaurant has a long and colorful history in Syracuse. Local lore claims that the building was originally a brothel, and Phoebe was its madam. In the summer of 2004, Phoebe's experienced a refreshing makeover with a bright new look in the atrium dining room with fresh paint, new upholstery, and artwork. The coffee lounge also opened that year, and it became an instant hit with the surrounding university and business crowd. Those changes also warranted a new name to reflect the updated attitude and ambiance: Phoebe's Restaurant and Coffee Lounge. Classic elements of Phoebe's remain untouched—the French onion soup and enticing crème brulee, for example, but other menu items change seasonally. The Lounge also has its own seating area and free wireless internet capabilities. Phoebe's old world charm is right at home in a revitalized area of the city.

    Apparently this is the go to place for a DELICIOUS meal before a Sunday show at the Landmark. I would highly recommend reservation. It is worth it! They were playing music similar to the show we were all about to go see and I had the most delicious burger I've had in a VERY long time. So many flavors combined to create the perfect bite every time. Cocktails were delicious and fun. Service was attentive and pleasant. I am looking forward to going back!

    This is my first visit to Daniella's Steakhouse and I'll just say WOW! From the quick sit down to our waitress Kim to the owner Charlie coming over to chat - overall a fantastic experience. The food was fantastic! And the owner called and left a voicemail for me the next day thanking us for coming in and hoped we enjoyed our dinner. Never had a restaurant do that. 10/10 - I'll be coming back for sure!

    We had a wonderful Easter meal as a family. Had originally intended to get their special but the seafood was too tempting for all of us and we didn’t regret it.

    Dockside was very accommodating when we needed to adjust our reservation to a later time and the place is in a GREAT spot on the water, with fun lawn games (putt putt golf and corn hole) set up right next to a beautiful, huge outdoor patio. But, the food wasn't anything special. As a party of 6, we ordered 4 burgers, a salad and a chicken sandwich and I would say the burgers were good but the salad was completely wrong? And the chicken sandwich was fine. Also, note that the appetizers are small portions (ie: the coconut shrimp only has 4 pcs!). Go for fun drinks in a cool spot.
