Great food with excellent service will be visiting again

It was my birthday and we had a really delicious meal with very good wine. The service was excellent and my only complaint was to request that the music was turned down as we found it rather intrusive while talking.

We ate at The Funky Monk on Bank Holiday Sunday- August 31 The food was exquisite. Sublime. Divine. We are a couple of foodies and we were blown away. We were in the area for an Event on the Monday; but we’d definitely drive 90 minutes from South London again just to eat here. The Scallops were “to die for”! My husband’s steak was perfect. My Pasta was delicious. The Restaurant was not busy. However, the Pub was. The Staff were just the right balance of reactive and attentive despite being incredibly busy serving at a heaving Bar. They offered service with a smile. 10/10 would recommend.

Great place to have a Sunday roast. Sam was excellent, as were all the staff.will definitely be going back with the family
