I wanted good old fashion home cooked English food and I couldn't have picked a better place , friendly environment,great hosts,and good hot fresh cooked as it was intended,full marks I'll be going again sometime soon with friends and I'm sure to have a great time 👍😄

Second afternoon tea here entertaining family from Hungary. The food is amazing. Our guests are always really impressed. Lovely views of the river. Excellent service. Highly recommend.

Our calf liver and sausage dinners were excellent, however my starter, smoked salmon, wasn't quite as good as it should be. Overall very good, as usual. Thanks Dave and Gill

her name was exceptional, polite and friendly and attended to us with a smile always ready to sort us out. Nothing was too much for her, she is young her aptitude will get her far, well done Charlie. We were also greeted very well and seen to our table, cannot remember the person who greeted me, but I arrived first and was shown to my table. The atmosphere was very good as it was my first visit very impressed.

Yummy food, alot of it and great service. So glad we got in. Really hope it will be back next year! Amazing 🥰
