This is our second visit. We travel from York every two to three months to watch Northampton Saints and stumbled upon this place by accident after we decided to alter our route due to a traffic jam on the M1 in May....glad we did as we would not have found this gem! It's a traditional, clean and welcoming pub. Great selection of cask and keg beers, ciders and lagers - especially the Timmy Taylors appealing to this northern palate,?!?! The staff are welcoming, helpful and professional and our food yet again, fresh tasty and competitively priced, all in all excellent! See you guys again soon!

It was nice to have a bit more savoury. Food was lovely as was the service.
