    A thoroughly enjoyable lunch at The Griffin. We opted for the set lunch menu, which offered a beautifully balanced selection of dishes, all attractively presented and served promptly. The staff were friendly, attentive and extremely knowledgeable, happily answering our questions about the food. We arrived earlier than our reservation and were delighted to be seated straight away, having expected to wait at the bar. Excellent, efficient service throughout and a lovely dining experience.

    I have never had a bad meal at The Green Oak and had some of the best meals ever. They have creative and innovative menus and have particularly great vegetarian options, which I have chosen even as a non- vegetarian. A friendly service, knowledgeable staff, never feel rushed. Highly recommended.
