Blacks Corner at the Tram Shelter is our British food and wine bar by the sea, set within Seaburn’s restored seafront gardens, whose planting and original character were recreated using historic photographs.The Grade II listed Tram Shelter was sensitively brought back to life with support from the Coastal Communities Fund, preserving its original ironwork, timber and fish-scale roof. The restoration received a Northern Design Award in 2023.Our all-day menu follows the changing pace of the coast: coffee and breakfast in the morning, brunch and seasonal dishes through the day, followed by plates and wine into the evening.
