NOW OPEN ON TEMPLE ROWKIBOU Japanese Kitchen & Bar is now open on Temple Row, facing Cathedral Square, bringing handmade sushi, sashimi and a full Japanese kitchen to Birmingham city centre. Every roll is cut to order in an open sushi kitchen you can watch from your seat, alongside steaming bowls of ramen, bao buns, crisp tempura, handmade spiced pork gyoza, sushi and sashimi sharing platters, seasonal specials and A5 grade Japanese wagyu. Hand-painted murals by artist Martyna Sabadasz, created specifically for this site, tell Birmingham’s own story on the walls, alongside digital animation, neon kanji and a basement of plush booths. Sit at the open kitchen or the sushi bar, or settle in at the large bar for cocktails, sake, Japanese whisky and spirits. Book a table or walk in. We are open seven days a week, until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays. Private dining for up to 18.
