Superb - great food and lively atmosphere. Current mix of dishes is better than ever with delightful starters ( we all love the samosa chat which is out of this world ...) and a good range of great main and slightly less rich main courses (the lamb biryani is delightful ...). Clays must be one of the top indian restaurants in the UK.

A surprise find in Oxford. Very near the shopping centre. Very welcoming staff and glorious tasty vegetarian food. Spicy flavours but not hot spicy. We have been to many restaurants in Oxford and this was one to visit again.

The food was really good, but what stood out most was the exceptional service from John. He was genuinely one of the best waiters I’ve come across. From start to finish, his attitude was fantastic, incredibly friendly, attentive, helpful and professional without ever being overbearing. Nothing felt like too much trouble for him, and the way he interacted with us made us feel genuinely welcome and looked after throughout the evening. Great food and an enjoyable experience overall, but John’s outstanding service really elevated the evening and deserves special recognition. He’s a real credit to the restaurant. Would definitely return!

Truly authentic Indian food, tandoor items are really good and must try, and their curries very flavourful. Best dosa in Hertfordshire!
