The Belgian Monk opened in December 2000. The main objective was to create something different yet to fit in with the way drinking and dining is changing.     We love fish and seafood so decided to build a feast. The menu was great offering set meals or the chance to build your own platter. Wverything was wonderful...especially moules mariniere (amazing sauce) and the crevettes (sweet and juicy). The staff were lovely and the setting/decor felt really atmospheric and cosy. Fantastic...we'll certainly be coming back.

    Great service, great value, proper Italian food, fabulously cooked and delivered. We had two pizzas and lasagne, with superb Gb+cheese. A truly generous side salad and it was so good we had tiramisu also. The wine list offers great depth and value. We will be back!
