San Giorgio serves Authentic Neapolitan pizza straight from Naples, Italy in a buzzing modern space.At San Giorgio, our Neapolitan pizza dough is made fresh and naturally fermented in accordance with the strict standards of the authentic Vera Pizza Napolenta. Our pizza is cooked at 900°F in a Stefano Ferrara, wood-fired oven and is finished in 70-90 seconds. This extreme heat creates a pizza with a light and fluffy “cornicione” (crown) and a soft, thin center.We also serve pasta and local and international beer, wine and spirits.

You are cordially invited to visit Transfer Pizzeria Café, located in the Harbor District on the corner of 1st and Mitchell Streets. Established in 2008, the namesake is Transfer Pharmacy, a classic cornerstone drugstore from a bygone era that for decades supplied a thriving community with goods and services as evidenced by the stained glass windows still in place. The pharmacy was appropriately named for the constant activity that took place just outside - the boarding, departures, and transfers of the countless daily commuters of the time. The tradition of a reliable cornerstone establishment continues today, as Transfer Pizzeria delivers a unique dose of delicious pizza, drink, atmosphere, and friendly service. We keep an active wait-list and gladly accommodate walk-ins as part of both our lunch and dinner service.

From their humble beginnings as teenagers in 1957, Bill & his wife Pat established their landmark pizza business in what was once a garage. Though his building was small, his ideas about what makes a successful business were not. In fact, other pizza entrepreneurs throughout the country and as far away as Aruba looked to Bill as a mentor when they were starting out. Along with the original secret recipe, Pizza Bill produced the first double decker pizza and many other innovations that have inspired several pizza places. Over the past 64 years the business grew along with the community. Bill’s is a true family restaurant run by the entire family including Bill’s daughters and grandsons. Our goal is to serve the same great pizza to you that your parents and grandparents enjoyed since 1957.
