Kampung Ah Lee, commonly known as Kampung Ali, is Edinburgh's home of Malaysian delight. Located at 97-101 Fountainbridge, just a 15 minute walk from Edinburgh Castle in Edinburgh's West End, this exotic restaurant gives diners a taste of the best in Malaysian cuisine. Coming from a line of famous chefs, Mr. Lee has captured the essence of fine dining. The menu offers a range of captivating flavours and culinary styles in dishes such as Rendang chicken, Beef Satay and Jiang Nan King Prawn. In contrast to the restaurant's simple decor, the food is sumptuous. Guests have the option of either enjoying the drinks on offer – both alcoholic and non-alcoholic – or bringing their own bottle for a corkage fee. The restaurant opened in 2007 and has become a favourite southeastern Asian style eatery for locals and tourists alike.
