A Hidden Gem, 10 mins from Selby in a beautiful rural village, this place really sets the bar. The Staff so so accommodating, and genuinely nice (not forced at all). They have tables in the bar area, restaurant area or you can even sit outside on the picnic benches, cabins or under the Tepee tent. Although we had a booking, service time was spot on. We had a pleasant drink outside, before sitting in the bar area for our meals. I had the fish and triple cooked chips (The fish was better and bigger than any I'd had at the seaside), my partner had the pie of the week (Cornish). We were served complimentary warm bread and olive oil/balsamic as an appetiser. Service was quick and we didn't feel rushed at all, even though the place was starting to fill up. We will certainly be back for more another day. Absolutely fantastic. The food, the service and the atmosphere was superb. The portions were very generous and everything was well cooked and presented. I always feel a good dining experience is enables by good clean functioning toilets and they were immaculate. If the kitchen is as clean, then you can be assured of an untroubled gastric experience. Thankyou to everyone involved.

Very attentive and welcoming staff, great beers and fabulous food, great to see this lovely village pub opened again.
