I just moved to the neighborhood and was really excited when I found Popular online. The beautiful aesthetics and design are refined without being pretentious. I went with a friend to celebrate her birthday and my move and Popular did not disappoint. Christina our server was attentive and helped me navigate my soy allergy on the menu. We selected three appetizers and the Greek salad. The Moroccan Frena bread and the smoked eggplant were a couple of my favorites. The cucumbers, tomatoes and feta in the salad were so fresh and delicious, as was my dirty martini. Highly recommend!

Great restaurant with very fresh and tasty food on Alameda between Glenoaks and San Fernando. Beautifully decorated dining areas with the owner checking on the diners to make sure everything is to perfection. Would definitely recommend.

It was a wonderful brunch experience! The owner and her daughter make such great hosts! No detail in the decor, food, or floor plan has gone unattended. Even the restroom is so thoughtful! The juice blends, coffee, teas, and food are delicious and taste fresh! If I could, I would go every weekend!
