We visited on a Saturday night for the Aperitivo deal for my partner’s birthday, and honestly, what a gem of a place. Firstly, the interior is absolutely gorgeous. Everything has clearly been thought through and is beautifully organised, with the whole place being immaculately clean. Even the bathrooms were beautifully presented, spotless and smelled gorgeous! The food was second to none. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted absolutely incredible. The drinks were equally as impressive and amongst some of the best I’ve ever had. There was a brilliant selection, and so much attention to detail went into every drink, right down to the glassware and fruit decorations. The service was perfect. Every member of staff was polite, well-mannered and extremely attentive, constantly checking in on us without ever being overbearing. They didn’t seem to stop for a moment and clearly worked incredibly hard, and it absolutely paid off. 10/10 for absolutely everything. We’re already planning our next visit. What a little gem!

Second time that we have visited The Pearl, and it did not disappoint. Sam, the boss, welcomed us, and we had drinks immediately. The menu is not too big, so makes an easy choice. The ambience of the restaurant is excellent, with great music at the right level. The service was outstanding, with the chef visiting our table as each course arrived & talking us through the dishes. And the food was amazing, as were the cocktails, beer & wine. Overall, a fantastic evening, we will definitely return.

Sunday roast sharer was lovely, plenty of all four meats and lots of gorgeous veg! Maybe an option for more gravy would be nice, apart from that, wow, we'll be back 😁😁😁

Really enjoyed our visit to The Kicking Donkey. We were greeted straight away and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout. I had the vegetable chilli with rice and salad, which was lovely with a nice bit of spice, and my husband had the steak and chips which he thoroughly enjoyed. We somehow ended up with a bottle of rosé fizz too! 🍾 Lovely place, good food and a relaxed atmosphere. Around £63 including drinks and dessert, which we thought was reasonable. Definitely one we’ll return to.
