Superb meal. Pub has recently changed hands (Oct 26) and the new owners have got off to a blistering start. The whole experience was excellent with warm welcome, really great food and excellent service. Downstairs it is a quirky local pub and the restaurant is on the floor above. Well beyond the "gastro pub" standard - thoroughly recommend !

Pubs are struggling these days and yet ones such as the Abergavenny Arms are lovely places to visit. Great burger, excellent service, just needs more people to support a great pub. Visit now!!!

We dined with two young children and the staff were very friendly and accommodating without imposing. They all created a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere which is so important with children. Nothing was too much trouble and the food including the children's was of a really exceptional standard. Well done - we will definitely be back !!

Once again, an amazing experience. The new premises are great and the chicken wings are still the best ever. Bee and Kieron served us on this day and were faultless. They were so attentive and looked after us brilliantly. Give these two a bonus and a pay rise!! We came down for my son’s birthday and he loved it. This is place is a 100 miles round trip for me, but the drive is a pleasure as the eating here is such a reward.

My wife and I have been coming here for brunch for quite some time now. We did have a little blip, at one point, but we don't let that tarnish our overall experience which has been really great! The food tastes amazing. I highly recommend you try it 👍
