Setting and service were top notch; worth a trip just for those! As an offshoot of the nearby Greyhound, one would expect best-in-class which the restaurant provided. Family loved the fish & chips and shepherd's pie; the burger taste was just slightly off, though. Will return!

A delight. The staff are excellent, the food is excellent, the menu is uncomplicated (as is the selection of wines) and the venue is nice & cosy. I particularly recommend the titular house cocktail. Perfect.

I have been before for their Sunday roasts but hadn't been for their a la carte menu - a wonderful range of food choices available and suited everyone on our table of 4 including very tasty non dairy, veggie and gluten free options. The food is refreshingly unique with a delightful list of wines too. We were told absolutely everything is made in house and sourced or grown locally - how fantastic! It has a lovely buzzy atmosphere and the service was very welcoming and attentive. We will most certainly be returning for their a la carte menu, however we also learned they have a set lunch menu that changes weekly and a bottomless lunch too so will be endeavouring to try it all. The general consensus of the group was that is was the best meal we've ever had. Highly recommend Bistro Twelve Twenty!

We had a lovely family Sunday lunch for my husband’s birthday. Love the fact that they are all round tables so no one feels left out. Kind attentive staff.
