Having spent 7 years living in the beautiful village of Chrishall as a young man, it was lovely to return to my once local boozer. The old place looks great and the whole experience was worth the visit. Booking was simple, we added another person to the table the evening before, by calling and received an acknowledgment to confirm. The food was lovely and plenty of it, a beautifully cooked Sunday lunchtime treat. The staff were friendly and attentive making the whole experience memorable. We look forward to visiting again!

Staff were very pleasant. New menu from previous visit with excellent choice of starters. A good selection of main dishes. The food was very nice including a carrot cake cheesecake! Drinks are reasonably priced compared to other venues. Only criticism, I felt the staff could have kept a closer eye on the tables in case further drinks ect required. We look forward to another visit.
