Very warm greeting on arrival! The server and bartender were one and the same, as we arrived right when they opened, however, the service was impeccable!!! More people came and the staff had increased. The entire experience from beginning to end was phenomenal. I can’t even begin to describe the food….. The presentation was outstanding and the taste was amazing. The atmosphere was quiet, making it easy to converse with my friend. I love all the memorabilia/nostalgia that was hanging on the walls. It was worth the price… I have not been to Jack’s in a long time and had forgotten what a tremendous treasure we have right here in downtown Albany. My friend is from Texas originally and had never been here. Now friends are visiting her from Texas and she is going to bring them to Jack’s because of our dining experience!

Four of us had a great meal before a concert and the staff asked whether we were going so they could make sure we had plenty of time. The atmosphere was lively, but never too loud to be intrusive. The menu was inventive and we each enjoyed our choice. It was a relief to find a restaurant of this caliber that was affordable. I highly recommend!

City Beer Hall was amazing. We were seated outside. There was a live band playing when we got there. We sat a good distance away from the band, so it was not loud. There were people playing corn-hole. Very energetic. The food was delicious. We will definitely be back again. Plus free parking right behind the building. Perfect
