Lovely menu range. Easy to book online. Spacious eating area with lovely large windows looking out to fields. Play area for toddlers. Very friendly staff who took time to chat with us. Unfortunately there was a fire alarm just as we drank coffee after eating and we were asked to leave the building. We had an appointment to go to so we left but were disappointed we didn’t get to drink our drinks! I guess these things happen from time to time.

We had a nice afternoon, well taken care of by the staff who were very friendly. The food was great, and lots of tea. It was very quiet but didn't spoil the day.

Thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon tea at the Hotel...a very relaxing afternoon, on the Terrace. Highly recommend..

The drawing room closes at 7pm and our on line booking was for 7pm so we were re allocated to their No 43 restaurant which is open from 7pm to 9pm. The restaurant has a lovely view out to the sea with a larger menu than the drawing room Great service in pleasant surroundings. The food was of a good standard and came out pretty quickly.
