Ho mangiato il miglior fish & chips di sempre!
Clima confirtevole e personale super disponibile! Un ottimo inizio A Londra!
Tom's Kitchen is excellent as always. One of the best breakfast / brunch spots in London. Both food and ambiance are outstanding.
Food and service are great. It’s a small restaurant that is really loud... but fun.
Tom's kitchen used to be the gold standard for brunch. With staff turnover and changing suppliers things have slipped. The gluten free bread used to be made in house now it's basically from Tesco's and the eggs once light and fluffy are now chewy. Staff was helpful and wine was still lovely though
I have been to Tom's Kitchen for dinner a couple of times but this is the first time I have gone for brunch. The menu was good with choices to please everyone. Each of us had a different item and it was all very good. I will go back.
Fun. Restaurant couldn’t find our reservation- not sure if opentable at fault or restaurant or just odd IT glitch. Any way, the place was full but they found us a space. Fun atmosphere- noisy, buzzing. Sat at the bar. Fun.
Enjoyed the food, not our first visit, the restaurant staff are very average and the restaurant itself is noisy but the food is good so will go back
Excellent service food very good
This is my second visit Tom's Kitchen and I was slightly disappointed. Overall it was a pleasant evening but there were a few things that could be improved:
Service - we waited almost an hour to receive our first drink
We had burgers - one of them arrived without bacon and when I mentioned this to the waiter he just shrugged, but didn't do anything about it
The Gins on offer were disappointing (very mainstream) and lacked imagination for a restaurant of this kind - and when it arrived it was in a long glass with a slice of lime (the gin boom has been around for a few years now, so an effort to match the garnish with the gin would have been nice).
I walked away with the feeling that it was a nice evening but not great, so I wouldn't rush back, but rather look around.
The restaurant is very nice in a convenient spot in Chelsea. Unfortunately the food is average, and the manager and the waiter not very professional. I suppose it's a good spot for a Sunday brunch, bot for a lunch during the week.
We had breakfast and food was average and service was very slow.
Toilets are very poor, come on guys, reinvest a little and sort them out!
The service was really bad! The staff especially the hostess who took our order obviously had an issue with Arabs. You can see the difference when they speak to non-Arabs they are all smiles and keep on asking what to get them and anything is missing with big smiles and when it came to our table and the other tables who had Arabs seated we just got our order no smiles, not checking on anyone, when asked for the check it was slammed on the table as if saying here you go and leave. Unfortunately it ruined the whole experience even though the food was really good. I would never recommend this place again and would not allow people that I know to go and be disrespected.
Very expensive and noisy. Food was fine, poor service.
Nice brunch. Food was good.
I would recommend this restaurant. The food was good and we had a freat time there with friends for dinner.
Great little neighborhood eatery. Excellent food and inventive menu. Good service and friendly staff.
booked a table for 4 on arrival we were told that they only had a table of two and this was always happening with Open Table as they had to input the number of diners manually and would we like to go find somewhere else? When we said no we were asked if we would like to take a seat at the bar while they tried to sort something out and someone would get us a drink - we sat down - no one came to take a drinks order - we did however notice the cobwebs on the soup bowls on the shelf above the area we were seated in - within 5 minutes however a group of diners left and a table was available for us. Still no one came to take a drinks order when the manageress who was very pleasant came across she did organise a drinks order quickly - we were told one of the specials was off and so proceeded to check the menu out and wait for someone to take the food order when they eventually did another of the specials was also gone meaning one diner had to review their menu order very quickly - it felt like we had to attract someone's attention anytime anything was needed and the restaurant really wasn't that busy. The food was quite good and no one had any complaints at all. We were obviously the last diners to order our food (and we would probably have been even later if we hadn't asked to order ourselves) so it was no surprise we were the last diners in there however the staff all putting their coats on and turning the lights on and off wasn't quite the ticket - it wasn't that late and we were pretty much done anyway, would we go again? possibly but there are lots of places to choose from so you wouldn't necessarily rush back, would we recommend it? Possibly but again lots of other choice out there maybe they were just having a hiccup sort of night?
I do not recommend this restaurant. Went there this past Thursday waited 40 min for the main courses and the waiter said he had forgotten to type our orders in. They gave us our starter for free. But something was not fresh because my Bf and I were both sick when we left.
Truffle Eggs are to die for. We also tried the foie gras plate which was incredible. I have to say this is my favorite place in London for brunch, even though quite pricey.
I sat upstairs today which Inactually preferred (a little quieter). Service was fantastic, food was really good. Thought it was a little overpriced for brunch.
Overall really good experience... give it a try for sure
While we always stay in the neighborhood when in London, we hadn't ventured to Tom's Kitchen before this visit, and then we went twice. Food is really excellent quality, prepared to a high standard, and the casual atmosphere is a real pleasure.
Really disappointing as I came here once and thought it was good. But this second time experience really puts me off. First, they mess up our booking, saying that I have booked for Saturday instead of Sunday, but my opentable confirmation shows that we have booked for Sunday. (The worse is they had called me to double confirm the booking the day before). Secondly, they took a long time to bring the food. Drinks didn't even come when food arrived. I have to repeatedly remind them for the drinks. The worse is their toilets, really need to clean it up and do something about it. It smells damp and full of water on the floor. It was pretty disgusting. For the location and the price they charge, they definitely need to do something about it!
Tom's Kitchen is one of the best quality restaurants in London and has the best staff to back up the great chef. If are visiting London this is an easy pick and great value.
Tom's Kitchen is a local fave, we frequently dine here on a Sunday. The service is great, staff are attentive and polite, the food is always pleases (Sunday roast with the lot and the truffle mac and cheese are amazing!!). The juices are also fresh and the pricing of it all is very reasonable for Chelsea.
We went for a late lunch on a weekday, so the place was quite calm, but it was really nice. I liked the interior a lot, there's a lot of light. The staff was very friendly, we had an outstanding service. The food was pretty good, perfect for a nice lunch! I will be going back :)
It's one of my favorite brunch place
Chicken Schnitzel was terrible, I would not recommend the Food there. Service was mediocre.
Had a nice brunch there
Try their french toast!
A little overpriced.
Excellent lazy weekend brunch location. Delicious food (the brioche french toast is highly recommended) and lovely coffee. Had a table of 4 for 2 people on a Saturday morning and stayed for a good 2-3 hours before they needed the table back. (Not to say it doesn't get busy on weekends!) Would suggest booking ahead but great dining experience with friendly, efficient service and different brunch options. Will be returning soon!
Table of 5 for Mothers' Day lunch. By 3.30pm we were told they had run out of Sunday roast option because they were "too busy". This was bad enough, but later in the meal they had also "run out of" triple cooked chips, ie potatoes. We were only told this when we were served French fries (presumably from a packet) with our main courses. Service was so slow that when we finally got the waiter to clear out starter plates he actually offered us dessert menus without realising we hadn't had main courses. One of the main courses had to be sent back because the chicken was very obviously undercooked. No matter how much we were offered by way of reduction on our bill (and we were) we wouldn't go back. Restaurants know how many covers they are likely to have especially on a day like Mothers' Day, so to run out of things as basic as roast beef and potatoes is totally unacceptable.
Food ok but not special, waitress no concept of personal space/ intrusive
I like the french toast ..
It's a pitty, but the fame of Tom Kitchen doesn't justify a visit anymore. The service and the atmosphere are still ok, but the food is less then a regular meal, much less than you would expect from this place, once so good.
Food was good but not outstanding service very good very relaxed atmosphere
coffee cold, food cold, then sent back and returned undercooked, abysmal, do not go
Food was great - Perfectly cooked eggs Royale and a good flat white. Service, however, was a bit slow, given the restaurant wasn't even that busy at the time
