Excelente servicio y comida. La calidad de los alimentos y la presentación son muy buenos. Acaso el lugar necesita ya una remodelación. Los años se le ven encima.
The food is always great and well presented. The server did his his usual outstanding job. His bilingual assets really enhanced our evening.
So delicious! Wish I could afford more often/. Great wine suggestions
Excellent and thank you
We had been recommended to the restaurant by coworkers and they were spot on. The venue, staff and food were all exceptional! Thank you!
Great experience overall and highly recommend!!!
The restaurant was recommended by our friends JB n Laurie. Our host was friendly and knowledgeable, made sure we had everything we needed, that food was spot on. Great place , will b back
Wonderful lovely lunch. the cheese plate, escargot, and short ribs delicious.
The WineSellar is one of our absolute favorite places to dine! The food is superb and the staff are just wonderful. It is always a special treat to have our food paired with wines by the amazing Morro! We celebrated our anniversary there and they decorated the table for us, such a nice touch! Cannot wait to go back :)
Always enjoy the atmosphere; understated, more European than Western. Excellent service. Deep wine list. Food not up to its usual standards. Classic escargot dish was excellent ($16), better for dipping with the house bread than the brioche that came with it. Very fatty short ribs ($37), left about half. The duck two ways had mixed reviews (confit was fine, rich Madeira sauce; roasted breast was dry; $39). Entrees come with a mix of vegetables, mushrooms and potatoes. Unremarkable presentation. Corkage $15. Used to be a go-to for special occasions. Less sure now.
One of our favorites but on this night we had a server who ignored us for over 20 minutes b before she brought anything to us including water and had to ask the manager to help us. After that, the staff stepped up and we finally had the great dinner and dining experience we were used to.
Excellent food and service. We were celebrating a birthday and they decorated the table, in addition to providing a complimentary delicious dessert. One of us ordered the Chilean sea bass special and it was absolutely divine! Pricing is commensurate with the quality of food, presentation, and service. Highly recommended for a special dinner.
I'm from the San Francisco Bay Area visiting San Diego for 6 weeks. I'm staying at a hotel down the street from the WineSellar & Brasserie. Their signage looked interesting so, I Googled them. I was impressed with the web pages (which can often be misleading). I decided to try them when my friend came to visit with me. She and I eat at all of the best Brasseries and Restaurants in the Bay Area. The WineSellar & Brasserie certainly met all of our expectations from the ambiance, service, and food. It's the end of Restaurant Week in San Diego. Their Restaurant Week menu was actually a sampling of their regular menu. This was an incredible value.
I highly recommend the WineSellar & Brasserie. I will visit them again before I leave San Diego.
I especially liked the wine bar and shop downstairs.
Amazing service, amazing food, amazing wine selection!
Excellent food and service for my wife's birthday.
Great service and food
What a great night of wine, food, and new friendships. Spectacular!
Everything was excellent from the ambience to the service to the food and the wine! Only criticism is that the mushroom toast could have been a bit more toasted. But we loved all of the food.
Very gourmet, excellent service always, and great wine selection. One of the best restaurants in San Diego County.
An exceptional experience. The chef relied on a robust combination of flavors and spices and did not rely on sodium. Each course was exceptionally well done.
Food is excellent, Service was somewhat slow. Surroundings were enjoyable, but no-one wore masks which made us somewhat uncomfortable, even when CDC says masks should be worn indoors with servers. It's been more than 6 months since our vaccination, with the Delta variation out there. Management says they will go back to masks today.
Great food . We dine out a lot . Soup great , Lamb Salad awesome , broccoli top notch . Ribeye cooked perfect . Wine drinkers this is a place you need to go .
Excellent food and service.
We had a lovely dinner. The service was great, and the food was delicious.
Excellent food, service, and ambiance
Everything was exceptional! The service was incredible as well as the meals. Will be visiting more frequently.
Lovely place with excellent food
An amazing hidden gem. The food was the best my family and I have had in a long time. The service was excellent too. 11/10 Recommend.
The food was exceptional, service outstanding and a relaxing evening for all.
Birthday I have always enjoyed the Wine Cellar Brasserie for years. The very personal and attentive service as well as atmosphere. Now that they are back to some of the original ambiance I look forward to e excellent dinning experience
Anniversary dinner was great. Food was very good, service was great and a very intimate dining experience. I will be back!

Wine past its prime
A long time favorite. Ofter overlooked for lunch, but a terrific treat.
We ate a combination of appetizers, and a ribeye steak, all of which were delicious and elegantly presented.
If you are looking for a special meal - this is the place! Consistently great, attentive staff, great wine selection, and excellent service. Food really makes you think you may be somewhere else in the world in a 5-star setting with a view! Don't wait for a special occasion - go because you deserve it! Enjoy!
We decided for the 3 course dinner with the wine pairing.
It makes everything affordable and we don't have to worry about choosing the matching wine! The sommelier comes and explains why he picked that wine and is very friendly answering questions.
The food was delicious. Dining at WineSellar is always an enjoyable experience.
Love this gem! Great wine selection and food is good.
