The Waterfront Restaurant and Tavern has been changing the dining experience in La Crosse since 2006. By offering supreme product and hospitality, we have become a favorite of locals and a travel destination all in the same. Our menus highlight seasonal American cuisine that includes certified angus beef and fresh day-boat seafood. With a focus on the freshest foods of each season, our culinary team allows the ingredients to speak for themselves.     Food was good. The service was very slow. I think our waitress forgot about us. Took 2 hours to dine. The waitress was very pleasant, just didn’t come by often. Our drinks were empty for a long time, needed to remind her about our drinks(constantly) and waited for the check a long time. This was our anniversary and we will probably not dine there again. The food was good though.

    Our dinner last night was perfection. We were going to be 1.5 hours late for our reservation, I called and Katlin fixed it. Then when we got there, she took us out to the patio to get the last table❤️ I like my steak, no pink. Haha. The chief served me a perfect steak. The Old Fashions, the corn salad, the scallops&pasta and the KEY LIME pie! Thank you for a great dinner.

    The service, by Mel, was outstanding per usual. The menu was varied and everything was described well ans sounded wonderful. I had the top sirloin with the chef's choice mashed potatoes and .ixed vegetables. Everything was cooked up perfection and seasoned exactly right. My wife had the special, which was black cod, skin on, pan seared served over a mixed salad w/rice. She said it was absolutely delicious. We were there to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary, this was acknowledged by everyone from the host/manager to our server, Mel, and several other waitstaff and personnel. We received a delightful dessert to finish off our meal. Our experience was wonderful but no less than we have come to expect from The Waterfront. This has become our favorite place to celebrate life events or just to enjoy a lovely evening out. We highly recommend The Waterfront.

    Everything was top notch from the decorations/ambience, to the service, to the food. I would return if I pass through LaCrosse again and recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys a great dining experience.

    Our server, Josh, was not enthusiastic as he did mostly the bare minimum. At the end of the expensive meal, he asked if we were done and took away our plates that were full of vegetables and mash potatoes. We assumed he would nicely wrap up the leftovers so we could take them home, but we never got the vegetables and mash potatoes we paid for. We were very disappointed and do not plan on dining at Waterfront or recommending it to anyone anytime soon.

    My husband and I had dinner at the Waterfront Restaurant and Tavern, and we enjoyed the service, food, and ambiance. Our server, Joseph, was very kind and welcoming to us, as we were in La Crosse on vacation. The staff are very friendly and the food was very fresh. Also it was quiet, which I appreciate. We will come again.

    The Waterfront is a beautiful restaurant with a lovely view of the Mississippi River. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the drink and food menu. She was also very attentive. The food was delicious. One of my favorite restaurants.
