The Park at 14th
I would recommend Park for dinner bc the food was amazing. I am unsure if I'd recommend for brunch. First of all, I had reservations and my friends were already seated in the restaurant. Security told me I stil had to wait in that ridiculously long line. Then a young lady came out with a clip board asking who had reservations. Once I have her my name she escorted me to the front of the line. And told security to let us in smh. I asked if we can get the time back that we lost waiting in line because the table was only reserved for 2 hours and we lost an hour. She said yes it would be extended. When we got to our table this was not the case. We had to rush and eat our food and drink our "unlimited" mimosas. At exactly 5, the waitress started grabbing our plates from the table and asking us to move. This was my birthday celebration and I was thoroughly disappointed in the service at Park.
I come to brunch at the Park somewhat often. I brought family from out of town for the 1st time and they loved it.
Food was great. Service was great. We stayed a little while for the day part and danced.
My husband and I had our anniversary brunch here and loved it. We’ve been to other place for brunch and it was mess. Park was pleasant, professional, classy, and fun. We really enjoy ourselves, so much that I’ve decided to celebrate my birthday there.
Thank you for your excellent service
Our group went because of numerous recommendations and we can say we were not disappointed. The vibe in the location was amazing. We had dinner and stayed for the dancing that took place after. The dinner was so delicious and worth the pricing. The service was great and we really couldn't have asked for a better experience! We look forward to returning and this time with bottle service because the seats were only reserved during the club for bottle service.
I had a 6:15 reservation. When I was finally seated at 6:50, my group could only get one round of drinks and food at happy hour prices. We had to ask to speak to the manager in order to get a second round. We did appreciate that. However, I didn’t realize that reservation times had limits. We were told around 10 that another party had a reservation and would be in in about 10 minutes. Wow! I have never been asked to leave any place! I wish the same energy had been placed upon my reservation!
Always come out to park and they never disappoint!
My first brunch with my friends, we had a blast! Loved the DJ he was amazing but it was so loud we couldn’t hear the waitress or speak to each other. I recommend turning down the volume slightly. Food was phenomenal ! We will definitely come back.
This was my first experience at Park and I honestly wasn’t thrilled. I came to celebrate my birthday and the wait to get in was horrible! I made a reservation for the 3:00 brunch and didn’t get in until almost 5. What’s the point in making a reservation if the wait is so long? On a positive note, the food was really good but not sure if the 2 hour wait is worth it...
Perfect brunch and day party! It's a lot
better than Gryphon!
It was my first time coming for brunch. So I wasn't expecting the outdoor line, purse check, and then indoor line. However I'm so glad I set a reservation with OpenTable. It definitely elevated the experience. I also wasn't expecting the trap music, I think I would have dressed more party than sweet calm brunch if I knew it was going to be a turn-up session. My reservation got my group a section of the 3rd floor. There was a guard there watching our bags as well. It felt very VIP. Not sure if they confused us for someone else but if that's how they treat everyone who make reservations it's outstanding.
My 6pm dinner reservation had me placed in a cramped space at a high table with high chairs directly behind the concierge and near the crowded bar so I asked to be moved. It wasn’t the type of seating area I wanted for dinner. We were directed to the 4th floor which had much more ambiance and seating for dinner. Our dining experience was superb!
The waiter was great! We enjoyed the spot and the food
This was my first brunch ever. Park was definitely a great experience and I would definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone!
Overall great experience!!!
I think your reservations need to be elaborated on your site, so people from out of town know what to expect.
So for you guest who may be coming from out of town like I was, if someone in your reservation party does not show up, you will still be responsible for their bill.
This was not a problem for us, just didn’t know that was happening until the bill came.
Married couple out for a date. Booked a reservation on opentable for Friday night at 830. Party of 2. Place too loud to talk. Young women humping the walls, tables and bannisters during dinner. Just plain unclassy.
We had 1 shrimp and grits, 1 order of fries a dessert and 2 vodka drinks. Total came to $99. Our waitress charged us a $30 service fee in bill, when I asked about it, she said she only meant to charge 15. The bill also had a section that requested an Additional tip. Truly thought we were going to have a grown and sexy night...very disappointed.
Work networking event to wish my manager well on her new opportunity.
Went for the 3PM Saturday brunch and the food never disappoints. It was buffet style with bottomless mimosas. The service is always great at Park as well as the ambiance.
My party & I were clearly seated at a dirty table, which is unacceptable. I had to bring this matter to the hostess attention the booth was dirty, food crumbs, etc food & used napkins under the table. How does a server allow a party to be seated in a dirty section? Mr.Barnes may also want to consider removing that filthy sour carpet, it has a very unpleasant odor. The music had to be a cd on repeat.. Not the same Park I frequented years ago..
Great food but the drinks are extremely over priced.
"I love overall vibe of this place – like a chic, upscale environment for sophisticated professionals. I definitely would return to try more entrees. Their signature jerk wings and mac and cheese was amazing and the drink specials were an added treat. Service was well-timed and friendly, pricey but well worth it."
Happy Hour celebrat
I absolutely loved it, the vibe was everything!
I’ll be there every Sunday I’m sure lol!
The food omg!!!! Best DMV brunch that everything was cooked right
Great service and food and a staff the goes above and beyound.
I brought my friends from out of town on a Thursday. Our experience was absolutely amazing! The staff was great and the food was even better! Our server, Irene, did a great job and even invited us back for brunch. Excellent job!
I enjoyed my birthday brunch at the Park. I will be going back soon.
The place is great, food is awesome, dress code was a little sketchy... Overall, great experience!!
Food is absolutely fantastic and staff are amazing
Great place and atmosphere! Want to eat at Black Owned 5-Star Dinning to close a deal? Go here! Your likely to run into someone you know along the way.
Excellent food and atmosphere as my wife and I enjoy the evening. We celebrated our 33rd weeding anniversary.
1. Server was drunk or something and spilled and drink on us and broke the glass. Was quickly replaced with a new server
2. Runner did not give proper order
3. New server did not give proper order (2x messed up). Had to wait an extra 15m
4. Server charged us an extra drink
5. View was horrible
-but all the employees were very professional and nice.
Server wasn’t on point at all. I would wave at her she would look at me and walk away. Food was good. Mimosa flavor were on point Peach Bellini was my favorite. Atmosphere was lit. Make reservations in advance.
During the reservation process, I would ask if they prefer high tops, a booth; etc.
Love happy hour at Park. Never been disappointed. I do wish they still had the live band playing, that was always something to look forward to. Food and service was great.
1st time at The Park Brunch was a fun adventure. Very good food, party brunch atmosphere and great music. I only felt sorry for the older mother's who were there for Mother's day. Seemed to be too much for them. Lol
The line outside could be improved but the food and service is on point.
This was my 2nd Sunday in a row that I attended brunch and both times the staff was phenomenal! The staff was friendly, courteous always smiling and punctual with all your needs! They show the true meaning of “Southern Hospitality”, although I’m a “City” woman. I would definitely visit again and again and invite more family and friends to join me 😊
I had made a reservation for a table ahead of time for my birthday dinner. However, when I got there they weren't serving the regular menu and our server did not explain that part to us. They only had a buffet style for food, which wasn't worth what I ended up paying. And the automatic gratuity for our server wasn't worth it at all because he barely came to our table. A total of three different people ended up assisting us that night and they were all telling us different things. In the end we just ended up leaving and I highly doubt I will be going back.
Everything was very mediocre for the price.
The service was ok.
They put us at a tiny table against a window.
There shouldn’t even be seats like that. That is a ridiculous place to put people and think they’ll enjoy themselves, with such cramped space, no room and we had a view of a dumpster.
It looked a lot nicer online, but fell short in real life.
I wasn’t aware it was more of an urban bar, which I wouldn’t have guessed from the website, so it’s pretty misleading and not my style.
It’s not somewhere I’d go again. It’s just too much of an unorganized cluster.
