Outstanding service and exceptional food
Best sushi happy hour
Very much enjoyed the visit to The Hamilton. On top of the food being delicious, the service was just as good. I have always enjoyed the ambiance of The Hamilton as well. I refer out of town visitors to go there all the time.
Great food and atmosphere
My family and I just had an excellent meal at the Hamilton. The menu has a wide variety of choices for all tastes. The chicken and biscuits brunch entree was fantastic. Our server was quite personable and very attentive. We look forward to returning on our next trip to DC.
Absolutely fabulous! The staff was so friendly and helpful. The food was so good we didn’t leave any behind. One of my new favorites
Great place to go when in DC. Great food and drinks.
Everyone I come to DC I try to eat here. The sushi special is great. Sushi is outstanding.
I always have an amazing time at the Hamilton. There sushi is super fresh and there burgers are absolutely amazing. Anything you get there is a sufficient sampled portion of food! I hope you enjoy!/ Try the Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich and District Wings!/
Family Sunday brunch. Great food and great service. Awesome location and ambiance.
Our server was nice but drinks and food took a long time and food was luke warm, not hot. Had to send back one entree two times and it still wasn’t right. Dined there two weeks before and it was excellent, not sure what happened.
Great time!! Had some friends visiting from out of town who wanted to do the monuments and such. Took them here for brunch/lunch beforehand and it did not dissappoint!! We will definitely be returning, the homemade banana bread with a cream cheese icing was to die for! Our friends really enjoyed the chicken and waffles and were raving over the gravy! Overall nice time, well kept interior, busy due to a holiday weekend and still decent service and price was good for what you got!
was suggested to try the Hamilton so I went for my birthday brunch and it was delicious! We had the Wings, Crab Soup was everything! The pancakes were so fluffy & the Catfish Sandwich was amazing!
I would recommend it, because the food is awesome, but if your server shows signs of being slow/non-responsive suggest that you do what we did not, which is to ask for a different server. Ours ruined the experience for us. No one should wait 30 minutes for a mimosa, 30 minutes for a tea spoon, 30 minutes for a coke. No one should have to ask twice for these things and then still wind up flagging down someone else to assist.
The service was good. The food was delicious. We enjoy food from their brunch menu. The banana bread, steak and eggs, grits, drinks, and bread pudding was absolutely delicious.
Great food and atmosphere. Prices are good too.
The food was ok. I think my expectation of the restaurant was too high maybe. I thought it was more high end than it was. It’s not a bad place for a chill date night, but it’s definitely not for a special occasion. The food was a bit salty too. But it was average. I would go back, but I would get a burger.
Amazing food and scenery excellent service
We eat here every time we come to DC. We love it.
Something for everyone here - this vast and gorgeous restaurant had phenomenal servers who were helpful with random DC facts and tips as well as just being friendly and on top of their stations. The clientele was diverse and fun people-watching. The cavernous rooms were steeped in history and the food was terrific! Go for the delicious appetizers (we had the melty brie, yum!) and all the entrees were also wonderful. Milkshakes for dessert (boozy or not, your call) and excellent key lime pie! Really I'd come back a thousand times. upscale comfort food - but prepared by a chef. So luxe.
I’ve had a reservation for closed booth seating and I was not accommodated properly! Highly upset! Other than that Olivia was a phenomenal server and the food was great as always!
Great food and atmosphere. Pricing was reasonable. Would highly recommend.
Started off well, but then our main course took far too long, with some of it just warm when it arrived. The food was a mix of good and blah. Our waitress was missing for over 20 minutes as we were trying to figure out why our dinner was taking so long to get to us.
We absolutely enjoyed our dining experience at Hamilton. The staff was able to accommodate my request for a private booth which allowed us some distance from the noise and business of the rest of the restaurant. We went with the duck breast which was delicious and had the best waiter. Will definitely come back again.
Dinner before a show at the National Theatre — great service and amazing food resulted in wonderful memories!
Nice decor and overall not bad service. The service could have been better and more romantic. The ambience was kind of loud. The food was prepared well, but they brought out the dishes for allergy friendly in separate plates. It was not visually appealing and ended up putting them together myself. For the area it was good food and we enjoyed ourselves.
Food and service was A1, per usual. One of my DC favs.
Love the Hamilton - wait staff was great. Love the music venue!
We went there for Valentines Day and it was absolutely perfect. The food, the service, the decor and ambience. We started with the spicy shrimp and baked brie for appetizers which were both excellent. The four of us then preceded to order a combination of crab cakes and filets for our entrees with mashed potatoes and fries for sides. All were prepared perfectly and delicious. And lastly we enjoyed milkshakes for dessert. Everyone gave the meal and experience an “A.” And our waitress couldn’t have been any nicer. We will definitely go back.
One of my favorite restaurants in the DMV
Terrific wait staff. There is something for everyone on the menu.
This restaurant lived up to the expectations. It actually exceeded my expectations. Everything was excellent from the service to the starters to the dessert.
We will DEFINITELY be back!
Went for my birthday and we had an amazing experience! We were given a private booth and enjoyed what felt like a VIP upgrade. The food was delicious and our server tended to our every need. The complimentary birthday dessert was just icing on the cake, will definitely return!!
Nice place, a little pricey but the food was good, the waitress very accommodating and we were on the quieter side which was super nice.
Dining room was a little cool by the windows and down draft from HVAC systems. Other than that very good!
Great service and food.
Fantastic! I have been here twice before and it’s always perfect! Great service and amazing food! Love this place!
First off, as a party of four we were placed at a table that was set for four but was really only comfortable for a party of two, while a couple was placed in a booth that would have suited our party better. Worse when all of our food was brought to the table—barely had room for plates, glasses, etc. My mule came in a high ball glass—who does that? Copper kettle is the only way to present the mule. Additionally, it was too acidic from the lemon and the ginger was overpowering. Pasta was too salty and barely edible—think the chef used the salty pasta water to help the sauce stick to the pasta but all they did was raise my blood pressure. 🤦🏾♀️
