They were very busy. I requested a tasting of a particular wine, which they kindly accommodated. A Lengthy delay ensued in receiving my wine after ordering, although my friend received her cocktail immediately. After a lengthy period of time we eventually received our lunch. Sadly, my fries were cold. They removed my plate and then replaced my meal after approximately 10 minutes. Fish now was cool and somewhat soggy. The fries (second time) were hot and crispy, yet seemed as though they had been refried, which was not optimal but acceptable. I didn’t bother discussing the fish as we simply didn’t have anymore time to devote to this cascade of mishaps. Our waitress was extremely kind and polite, and was working very hard, but probably had, along with her colleagues, too many tables. I do realize many restaurants and businesses are short staffed. I don’t know if the brake down was the kitchen line, or executing pickup and delivery, but the operation needs a drastic review to tighten up the heartbeat of their business. Things happen, mistakes happen and balls are dropped. In fairness I didn’t give them the opportunity to remedy the fish, so that is on me. It’s not the mistake or fail, but how the failure is remedied. The reason my guest chose your restaurant was that she had high regard for your establishment from a recent dinner, so I know you have the potential for excellence! We had a birthday luncheon today that was wonderful! Our waitress was one of the nicest, polite and accommodating wait people we have EVER had! So friendly and smiling - it was refreshing not to be rushed or have someone act like we were bothering them. The food was tasty, too. While we sat close to the entrance and the restaurant was full, the noise level was fine so that we could hear each other. We decided we definitely would come back to the Green House again as well as recommend it to others.

Excellent experience at the Greene House at Kierland Commons. The food was fantastic! We will definitely be back. The Short Ribs and Pappardella Pasta were our favorites.
