I took one star away because my companion and I were given two different menus. She chose something was only available for lunch and was disappointed that she couldn't have it after she had made up her mind. We then both tried the same entree but they neglected to bring us all of the items that came with the meal. We did get it however so all was well.
Nice spot. They had some large groups which I assume altered service and wait times. Our waitress was attentive and respectful, and worked hard to keep up with demand. The Spinach Artichoke dip was AWESOME! Highly recommend.
Guinnesses like you drink it in Ireland.
Limited menu thanks to Covid.
Lovely open porch room is our new favroite--open windows and ceiling fans.
Food was fantastic. The menu was not overwhelming and had lots of great Irish choices.
Staff was friendly and ambiance is just what I expected for an Irish Pub.
We came for the live music, which was great. Food, drinks, and service were fantastic as well.
Always a great time at the Dubliner! Family friendly pub with delicious food and friendly staff.
Not a bad place and very close to train station. Service was pretty slow but we were a large crowd. Although it didn’t seem to be very busy anyway. They did a great job accommodating all of us. The live music was nice but not a lot of performance. Good food! Cocktails were average.
Excellent food with a great atmosphere. Quality whiskies with a fair amount of very rare ones.
Great Irish Breakfast available on Saturday and Sunday morning
It is one of my favorite places in D.C. It never disappoints
Quick place to grab a meal. Meal was good, honey mustard was excellent!
The menu was a bit short and a bit on the pricey side for pub food. The service was great! Overall, nice place but could use some improvements.
Beer is good, food is ok. Price reasonable. Good for relaxing time after work.
We sat at a table in the bar area and it was not loud. I had the sheppard's pie which was excellent. Service was prompt and friendly.
Always a good time at the Dubliner!! Good food, wonderful atmosphere!! Almost like being back in Dublin!! Staff is friendly and helpful and you cannot go wrong ordering anything on the menu! Delicious food!
Excellent choice before getting on a train at Union Station!
Outstanding—great service and the food is delicious!
Great food. Great service. Fair prices. Large portions. Everybody was very happy with thier meals. Great place!
We had a wonderful meal at the Dubliner. I booked our reservation ahead of my family’s trip to DC to celebrate my son’s birthday. We loved the authentic Irish pub. The service was excellent and the food was even better.
We’ll definitely be back on our next trip to the District.
We made a reservation a week in advance to hopefully website we could sit near the live music, but they couldn't seat us there. It seems like the better bet is to just show up and wait a bit even if open table shows no reservations available.
Great to see the Dubliner back busy as ever! Staff great, very professional. True Irish hospitality with great food and drink! Always a blast to come in for a beer, some gin and great food! Irish charm at its best in the city!
Joe is a fabulous bartender and Joseph is a great waiter. Was a totally pleasurable experience.
Great atmosphere and good food.
We had a good lunch. I had fish and chips, excellent. Glad to know that the Dubliner is still in business.
Ate her twice while staying at the Phoenix Park. Great live music on the weekends, good food, and of course, a lovely Guinness.
Joe, our server, was just incredible overall.
Food and beers were good, but will come back to see Joe.
This is a tourist trap. Everything is overpriced and could have easily been made at home for half the price. Inside there wasn’t even any music and it was very depressing. The menu has a very limited selection. The food was okay but not anything to rave about. Would look elsewhere for Irish pubs.
Enjoyed an Impossible burger and a salad. Very tasty. They would not honor an expired gift certificate that expired during Covid. That was very disappointing. Otherwise, our waitress was attentive and friendly. Sitting outside was pure delight on a lovely afternoon.
Delighted live music has returned Thursday-Sat outside from 6-9 pm, plus free parking meters for the rest of May 2021!
had a great night there, good music and good drinks. Fabulous night after more than a year of staying at home.
Love returning to this Irish Pub when we’re in DC. Joseph is welcoming and friendly and always strikes up a conversation. Lots of beer choices and Irish dishes. My son said the Chocolate cake was amazing!
Great service and great food! We loved our server and had a wonderful table that was in a tent attached to the restaurant.
Fish and chips was light and seasoned well. The beef stew was cooked perfectly and the meat was tender. The Shepard’s pie was delicious but there is a lot coming at you so I would suggest splitting it with someone.
Entrees came out 45 minutes before the appetizers. Neither were appetizing. We had to ask for water several time and the server brought only one glass for the table of two. The food was honestly horrible.
Food was nothing special. Service was good. Very noisy.
The waiters and management was friendly. They had authentic Irish food, good beer and a cozy atmosphere. We always go out of our way to have dinner here when we're in DC
Go to spot for Irish food and beverages! We ordered Irish Reubens and they were delicious!
The Dubliner is the best Irish pub in the DC area and has been for a long time. The service is exceptional and all of the Colemans make you feel very welcome. Go enjoy yourself and enjoy a pint.
Welcoming and attentive staff. Great patio option for al fresco dining near the Capitol Building. Responsible table distancing. Festive music. Best pints in town, to boot.
