El pub Charlton Arms resulta realmente encantador y ofrece vistas al histórico puente Ludford a pocos minutos a pie del centro de Ludlow. La cocina, dirigida por Stephan Smith, se centra en la cocina británica y ofrece una gran variedad de productos locales. Behind the Charlton Arms, parking is available for up to 30 vehicles. In the event of overspill, there is additional parking in town or on the Whitcliffe Common viewpoint, both are a 3-5 minute stroll from the pub.

Ludlow train station is a ten minute walk from the pub, and has firm links to London Paddington, via Newport and Manchester Piccadilly. There is a good local bus service, with several stops in the town.

A somewhat disappointing experience. We ate here three years ago and loved it, but our second visit did not live up to expectations. Menu choice was poor, starters were excellent, mains were mediocre. We didn't hang around for a dessert. Service was pretty good.

The roast beef Sunday Lunch really hits the spot! Fabulous roast potatoes, generous slices of pink beef and delicious gravy with a single but perfect Yorkshire. Local Ludlow Lager and a carafe of Morande Chilean Pinot Noir - both at ideal temperatures - complimented the food. Followed by a superb sticky toffee pudding and three spoons! Best table in the house - corner table in the conservatory section with stunning views of river Teme and historic Ludlow. An hour of darts in the lobby post lunch adds up to a perfect afternoon.

I was initially disappointed with the choice of main courses but very happy with my 2 starters. The salmon and gruyère croquettes were perfect. The Scotch egg was very good - perhaps a little more seasoning would have helped. My partner's french onion soup was very good and his cod was 'excellent'

Excellent food and service, we enjoyed it so much we went back on our second evening. The food was excellent quality and generous portions and was so tasty. The Sunday roast was the best I’ve ever had when eating out. We would highly recommend but you must book ahead.

A beautiful setting next to the glorious river Teme. Lovely clean quiet bedrooms with bathroom, t.v. Coffee machine/tea balcony that looks over the river. Restaurant is looking it over the river that serves good tasty food and delicious wine. I would return here time and time again. Great value and a great service. Central to lovely Ludlow. Fantastic

An exceptional hotel Room was excellent Service was excellent Good was excellent You could ask for a better location Stunning location friendly staff highly highly recommended and we have stayed in 5star plus hotels around the world and for all the right reasons this is an exceptional hotel

Delicious three course lunch in beautiful surroundings. Food was excellent. Views of the river are stunning. Brilliant service with friendly staff.
