Perfect place to celebrate my husband 60th birthday. We had outstanding service from L.C. We had the cold seafood platter very good and good value to followed by ribeye with soy sauce glazed Brussels sprout. Of course we had some delicious stoli dolí martinis

We had a very nice meal ..We had ahi tuna -delicious-salad and mashed potatoes. It was all very good!

Food was delicious, and service was excellent.

Anniversary ....our waiter Tony was amazing and gave us unbelievable service. He is truly an asset to the restaurant.

Wow what can I say. The best food and the best service I have had. In a long time. They went out of their way to wish my Mom a happy birthday and even brought out a happy birthday dessert. I highly recommend this place.

Visiting my sister..

We chose this restaurant based on the menu items and location. We had been walking around DC all day and were anticipating an upscale meal. Wow, what a disappointment! The steak was burned, salad was nothing but lettuce, asparagus was undercooked, and EVERYTHING lacked flavor! Our bill was $210 and that was with only one entree and no drinks/dessert! Save your money and go somewhere else!

Lunch al fresco at The Capital Grille never disappoints. Moira provided attentive service for our table of 5, graciously and cheerfully. (Thank you, Moira!) Every bite was perfectly prepared with the freshest ingredients.

Haven’t been to The Capital Grille in 3 years and it never fails to come thru with top notch service a great food. The lamb chops were absolutely impeccable.

We went for our anniversary. The service and staff were impeccable. The food was fantastic! The cream brûlée cheese cake was the best I have ever had! I would definitely come back!

Food was good once it was served. We waited over fifteen minutes before a waiter ever showed up.

Reservations were for 10:30 for a party of 4 we were a little early so we sat over to the side and asked for drinks while waiting in which we were not allowed to order til we got a table ok understandable this is when we could see something brewing with staff
Closer to our reservation time we asked manager Doug about time and he randomly selects a curved booth with a single chair that Doug grabs and places in front of booth
2 couples don’t want to sit like that (3 in a both and 1 in a single chair)but Doug slides chair and walks off with attitude
We moved to another table suitable for 4 and this is where Heather comes over with a sense of attitude and doesn’t introduce herself to the point my lady has to ask “are you our waitress” so drinks are ordered food comes and there were specifically told not pork for Brussels sprouts then food comes we’re starving at this point and under the sprouts were chunks of pork so we let Doug know and his response was “Heather doesn’t make mistake and he’ll acknowledge the kitchen staff I hope you don’t get sick tonight”
So I don’t think either 4 of us will be planning a visit there
But the steak was delicious so it’s not the food but we definitely felt discriminated against

I enjoyed going here for my birthday, the place was nice, quiet, and elegant. I love the small dessert surprise they had for my birthday. It was a great amazing experience! I will definitely come back here and recommend people to come here.

I used to come here a lot but haven’t been in a while due to COVID. It is just as fantastic as it was before! Our meal was delicious and our server Daniel was PHENOMENAL!
It’s one of my favorite restaurants and I’ve never been disappointed!

Went out to celebrate with a birthday dinner. They didn’t even put the confetti on the table. The restaurant was packed.... the server was very nice however he alone. Don’t waste your time here, go to the one in Bethesda.

Had a wonderful dinner here. The atmosphere was beautifully intimate and everything was very professional. I really liked the added touch of being able to check our winter jackets at the front. The service was amazing. The drinks were well valued and full pours. The steak was cooked to perfection. I didn’t feel pressured into dessert which I felt was nice.

One of our favorites! The food quality and presentation is just perfect! Also, the servers are incredibly professional and super attentive! We will be back!
