   Encantador lugar para completar la visita a los jardines. Muy generosas porciones, en ambiente clásico con servicio amable y atento a las preferencias.

   It’s our family’s annual event. The restaurant opened up the time slot so we can still make it this year! Food and service are always as we expected! Thanks to everyone who helped to celebrate with us!

   Loved the beautiful rooms in the tea house as well as the food! But would have liked to have seen some more specialized ceramic teapots (instead of just plain silver pots) as well as a variety of cute tea cups and saucers, it would have added to the experience!

   Delicious teas and infusions. Quality of the pastries and sandwiches was excellent. Service was attentive and friendly. My only suggestions are: (1) Don’t start the food service off with an English trifle “dessert” (sweet) followed by sausage and salmon finger sandwiches. and (2) The warm scones with clotted cream should also be served after the finger sandwiches have . As it stands, they are brought with the sandwiches and are no longer warm by the time they are consumed.

   We were asked if we would like to sit outside, it was so beautiful! The birds flying, a nice part of the visit. The server was lovely, ensuring our food was safe due to an allergy was amazing! A nice way to spend an afternoon!

   We enjoyed having high tea at another venue. It was very elegant and very expensive. Our tea at Butchart was enjoyed in the conservatory in also elegant surroundings but we enjoyed the food so much more. We were served trifle 1st which is their custom, and the savory selections were just awesome. I could have eaten larger servings of the quiche and sausage rolls! We were surrounded by fresh flowers and it was just a lovely experience and will recommend to anyone to have tea there anytime.

   Afternoon tea overlooking the gardens. The little sandwiches and pastries and trifle were much better than the Empress afternoon tea menu and only half the cost. And the Butchart Gardens are spectacular, especially in May with so many azaleas and other flowers and bushes in bloom.

    Amazing high tea service. Ambiance was perfect sitting in the conservatory and all the food served was perfect. A perfect afternoon.
