Second visit and the food was excellent. Got the goat curry, dal tadka, and chicken vindaloo at medium heat; all were flavorful, spicy, and delicious. Give this place a try.

Really good meal. The service was quick and friendly. Our waiter couldn’t have been nicer and showed how good Indian hospitality is. The food was fantastic and very flavorful. One of the best Indian meals we’ve ever had. 100% recommend!
The atmosphere was very rich, pristine, and clean! The waiters were prompt, polite, and well dressed. I had the meat samosas, rito bread, and chicken tikka marsala; they tasted very delicious! I went with a friend and she agreed with me. I would highly recommend to anyone that loves Indian cuisine.
The buffet was very reasonably priced at $12.99. The Tandori Chicken and Curry Goat was delicious! Everything was very flavorful!
We chose to eat outside as the weather was excellent. I ordered the tandoori chicken and my son ordered a rice dish with lamb. We also got the meat samosa. The portions were generous and the food was delicious.

A lovely relaxing ambiance, good service, and delicious Indian food with many vegan and vegetarian choices! They also routinely ask you how “hot” you like your dish, and adjust accordingly. A great neighborhood gem.

Meals did not come out at the same time. Server had to be reminded to bring the sides. It was too bad that the service was not up to the quality of the food.

I’ve dined at Taj Palace at least five times and find that the food is consistently good. Portions are enough to take home leftovers.

Came here with some friends to celebrate a birthday. The food was DELICIOUS!!! The service could be a little better but for the most part, I will surely return.
The food was good but not outstanding. The portions were small compared to other Indian restaurants and not a good value for what we paid.
For context, I travel to India 1-2 times a year on average.
I had Chicken Tiki Masala and my wife had Shrimp Biryani. Food was very good and nice portions.
However the service was just bad. Asked for sparkling water and the waiter responded like I had asked him for his car keys. Menu indicated Stella on draft but they only had bottles. Food came pretty quick. Two waiters (really the bar tender and waiter) roamed the dinning room presumably looking for an opportunity to serve but our water glasses were empty a good 10mi before I had to ask for a refill. Later we asked for to go container and once received was left along another 15min before we flagged one of the roaming waiters down to request the check. When he finally made it to the table he asked me if he had already gave me the check? Huh? The dinning room seats 40+ and there were 3 tables with patrons and you can’t keep track?
Hope the owners or managers are reading this and invest in training or hiring better staff.
PS - Try sweeping / vacuuming the dinning room; didn’t look like it was swept after lunch shift.
For some reason the nigt we were there the service was very poor. First time this has happened. Don't know the reason.

Best Indian food in Baltimore County. Flavorful, fresh, well presented. Terrific variety of vegetarian meals, and the meat options are also excellent (but beware goat only for the bones, but it too is a delicious entree). Wine options are poor, so stick with beer, water or tea. As I wrote, best Indian food in Baltimore County.

Staff were very friendly and service was good. Restaurant was quiet for a Sunday evening with only 5 tables occupied and ambience was not great. Food was very good. Had Chicken curry and Fish Goan. Sauce in fish dish was the best I have tasted. Chicken was also very good. Not too hot but spicy enough for me. Food made up for uninspiring decor.
The food was great! We will likely go back for takeout but I don't think we will ever eat-in again. The service was mediocre and the atmosphere was bland.
We had three delicious vegetarian meals. Yummy! I would return and get the same thing again. I do not remember the name of my entree.
The service was very good and the ambiance was pleasant - - linen tablecloths and not noisy.
My husband asked for his meal to be "mild" yet he felt it was a little spicy. The other two of our group ordered "medium" spicy which was fine, definitely some spiciness.

Taj Palace offers some of the best prepared, tastiest Indian fare in the Baltimore area. If food is your thing, you have to try this restaurant. From vegan to lamb, the food is outstanding, and I do not give 5 stars for food often even for the top restaurants.
