Excellent consistent and polite service. I've been a diner in this restaurant throughout twenty years.
All the dishes we had were winners including the really well spices samosas and side dishes. All flavourful with individual characters. Great service too!
This is a very good Indian restaurant located near Belsize Park. The food is very good and the menu offers a lot of dishes to choose from. The waiter was very polite and the service was quite fast. I will definitely come back!
Great local curry place. Friendly service and reliably tasty.
Good classical Indian food, well cooked and pleasant atmosphere. Service was good and they brought us a post dinner drink for free. As they make it I would have liked alcohol free Indian beer to be available. Would I go back which is the big question, yes I am sure I would
The food here was pretty ordinary. There was nothing really wrong with it but there was also nothing that would bring us back. It was fairly standard stuff.
Far from the madding crowd in a quiet Belsize Park neighbourhood not far from trendy Hampstead Village, is this unprepossessing local Indian restaurant that does not disappoint. It serves very tasty dishes. We loved the chicken saag (with fresh not overly cream spinach). Yummy. The tandoori chicken tikka was very good too. We'll definitely be back soon.
Taherah is a truly authentic Indian restaurant (although I think that the owner and staff are actually from Bangaladesh!) The food is consistently good. Always fresh, Always wonderfully spiced and the service is outstanding. They also have an excellent take out service. Highly recommended. It's a neighborhood restaurant and not necessarily 'romantic' but for foodies and those of us whose first port of call when returning home from any kind of holiday is to go there directly, then it's a god send!
The food is standard indian but we love indian food. The currys we had were hotter than average so if you want a vinderloo, order a madras! Portions were good but pricewise i would say it is alittle more expensive than average indian restaurants and the waiter really pushed for us ordering extras which i found awkward. However overall i would eat here again and it has the main advantage of location in pretty peaceful Belsize Village.
