The service was definitely off from my previous experiences. The wine took a very long time to come and when it did arrive it was the wrong wine. And the kid carving the Chateaubriand was hacking away at it like it was supermarket steak. I expected it to be tough based on his inability to cut it but it wasn’t. The service was sub par previous experiences but the food was excellent.

We went there for the first time last night, for my husband’s birthday dinner. They didn’t ask where we wanted to sit-just sat us in the bar, even though the quieter dining room was empty. It was so loud we couldn’t have a conversation. The food was just okay, but our waiter Keith was excellent. It took FOREVER for our entrees to come out. Family of 4, 2 glasses of wine…$346. Not a great value.

The young man who gave us bread and filled drinks and boxed our food was the favorite part of our experience. He was so kind and engaging. My husband and I had a great experience.

Our server was very nice and tried very hard to take good care of us. Overall service/experience was slower than expected. We arrived at 6:30 - sat down quickly but didn’t finish our meal until close to 9:30 - there were 3 of us. All aspects of our dinner took longer than expected - cocktails, salads, entrees. My daughter order a filet mignon, cooked medium, I ordered a bone-in filet, medium rare. Hers came out medium rare, mine came out medium. Server wanted to “fix” it for us - chef said it would take 25 minutes to replace my steak. Not the right answer for a mistake in the kitchen. We kept our steaks, and just traded so we each had the temperature we wanted, just not the actual steaks we ordered. The server and the manager agreed to remove my steak from the bill and let us select desserts at no charge. Nice of them to do and appreciated but not the same as we wanted.

We were greeted by the lovely hostesses and brought to a lovely table by the fireplace. We were greeted by Silvia and Cal who gave us excellent service and made some great recommendations. We started off with two Old Fashions and viola they definitely hit the spot. Silvia recommended a new salad called the “Kitchen Sink Cesar”. This salad had all of my favorites from avocado, hearts of palm, really nice size pieces of shrimp with their homemade Cesar dressing with horseradish. While we waited for our main entree we were visited by the Sommelier who gave us a few samples and help me to choose a new wine called “Frank Family” Cabernet which paired perfectly with the Prime Rib. The Prime Rib with mini lobster tails came out perfectly with 4 different horseradish’s (my absolute favorite). The lobster tails had a delicious melted garlic butter that I just couldn’t get enough of. We chose two sides, asparagus which came with a yummy béarnaise sauce and of course I had to get the Mac and cheese. After our meal, Doug the manager came by to check in and see how we were doing and to thank us for coming in to celebrate our Anniversary. He had the kitchen send a beautiful crème brûlée with chocolate dipped strawberries and a Happy Anniversary chocolate. I would say this has been an exceptional experience for our 21 year anniversary and we will definitely go back more often! Thank you for a memorable evening!!! Oh I forgot they had live music with a pianist and saxophonist and this was a perfect addition to the evening, and they were fantastic!!!
