CAFE 1736 pays homage to the history of coffee, having arrived to Puerto Rico in 1736. In the 19th century coffee became the first agricultural product of the island. By the end of the century, Puerto Rico was the sixth largest exporter of coffee in the world. We proudly serve Alto Grande Coffee, experts enthusiastically describe it as a “rare and exotic Puerto Rican coffee with full body chocolate undertones and a sweet pointed aroma". Enjoy a relaxing resort coffee break, savory lunch sandwiches, salads, and refreshing wines; or an afternoon treat with our homemade pastries from the bakery.

TROVA is the music of the field or "campo adentro", of the jíbaro and of the Puerto Rican identity itself. It emerged from bohemian musicians, each with a guitar under their arm, wandering through their streets, playing their songs in parks, plazas, bars or street corners. Trova's menu is inspired by the culture and stories of its location. Our seasonal menu is inspired by local farmers and their products. Starting with sharable plates that allows each person to participate and experience the stories behind it.TROVA is the hottest restaurant in Palmas, featuring live music on the weekends, indoor and patio dining under the stars, with award winning menu!
