   I was really disappointed. I’ve eaten here before and had a good experience. They seated us near the back door and people kept entering and leaving through it allowing a very cold wind to enter. Even with our coats on we were cold, The food arrived and it was poor at best. Neither of us liked what we ordered (and we’ve had these dishes before). We ate the veggies on the plates and left the entrees. Waiter was competent but had no personality and really wasn’t friendly. This whole experience is a shame because Solid was one of our go-to places in the Bodo area.

   I should have listened to the other reviews about slow service, it took 45 minutes for our food to arrive and the restaurant was only 25% full. Food was OK, nothing great, would skip it if you have other options.

   The burgers were very good -- seemed like good quality meat. It was nice to see several local wines on the menu, and I appreciated the generous pour. Prices were reasonable, and the servers were attentive.

   The salmon and steak were perfect. We went in for an early dinner. It was quiet, the staff was friendly and the service was prompt. They had a nice selection of craft beers on tap. We'll certainly be back.

    We were placed into an area to the side of the main dining space. No one else was in the entire area but a large empty (15) seating table with dirty dishes. It felt like we had been placed into the forgotten corner. I know they were really busy, but we wouldn't recommend the restaurant based on our experience.

    A rare night out without kids, we chose to eat here becusee it’s always been pretty good. After a patient wait for someone to come to our table after 15 minutes, I ordered a “chicken Caesar wrap with no tomatoes”. I am currently pregnant and I can’t stand the smell of tomatoes. When my food came the wrap had the dressing, lettuce and tomatoes in it… only. I said no big deal and picked out the tomatoes only to find there was no chicken. I had to walk to the bar after waiting 10 more minutes for someone to come help. I explained I had no chicken. The server says to me “you have to specify that you want chicken” which I know I had but just said “oh okay I’m sorry, can I just get a grilled piece of chicken and I’ll throw it on?” Not even 1 minute later does she bring me a bowl of shredded taco chicken. I did not eat my wrap and paid 12.99 for it. She said “sorry about that” as she took my plate away. It’s so hard to go out and spend money when you’re uncertain if you will be mostly pleased in the end. I’ve been to solid a handful of times and this was the only bad time but I wouldn’t go back anytime soon based on the experience I had.

    Lively place with a fun atmosphere and great food. The chocolate bread pudding was AMAZING! They were shorthanded on staff, but our server did an incredible job keeping up with the room and the food was well-prepared, hot, and tasty when it arrived.

    Over all nasty. The service was very slow. My husband and I waited 45 minutes to get our food and then took one bight and were actually gagging on the spices. Are food wasn't supposed to have spice in it at all and it was drenched in it. We didn't eat another bite. We waited another 45 minutes for our server to even come back and check on us. We had other plans that night but since we had to wait so long to get our food and be taken care of we had to call are night short because we had to go get the kids from my in-laws. The restaurant also smelled heavily of cigaret smoke witch was very off putting. We got home and both my husband and I were very sick. We will never come back. We wanted to go some place we had never been before and this place was just over the top gross and we can't even understand how they are still in business this was the worst food and serves we have ever had I can't believe it took so long to get our food and to then get any serves from the waitress. We were hoping to just get a quick bite and go out and have a fun date night but thanks to this place taking forever and our night was ruined. Just so despicable.

    The staff was quick to serve and very polite. The atmosphere was not too crazy but it's still a bar, so moderate noise was expected. We enjoyed the food overall, everything tasted good.

    Their food is always great and their portions are huge too. Be ready to eat! We visited for Restaurant Week and really enjoyed ourselves. Solid doesn't get as much press/coverage as other restaurants but their prices are very reasonable and food is always cooked to perfection.

    Our server was great. My husbands meal was delivered 30 minutes after the rest of us finished our meal. I understand that staff is short, however, there were no apologies or reasons for the lateness. Unacceptable.

    Sold Grill's location with the outside balcony makes the dining experience fun. The mojitos added to the fun atmosphere. The extensive menu provided lots of choices. There seemed to be something for every taste.

    I was able to get into this restaurant at the last minute on a Saturday night. Should have been the 1st clue. The service was strained as servers 2nd day was a busy Saturday. She needed more training before waiting on table. Drinks made were great and food ordered was very good. There are so many great options downtown so this wouldn’t be my 1st choice to go back to.

    Food was good, but the service was awful. We sat down and waited over 10 minutes for a server to come take our drink order. Then another 20 minutes to get him to take our order. Then we waited over an HOUR to get our food. We couldn’t get refills on our drinks. We almost walked out. No communication from the server. He just ignored us because he knew we were getting mad about the wait. It was a bad experience. The only thing that saves them was the food was good. But we will never go back.

    This place was fantastic! We were quickly seated and the environment was amazing. Our server, Ramsey, was so very kind and awesome. We had a very nice time and absolutely will be returning. Food was so good also!

    We have been to Solid a few times in the past and really enjoyed it, but this trip was not our favorite. The service was not friendly at all, and the food was not great. We went for brunch and got a brunch sandwich, and "orange citrus" french toast. The sandwich my man had was alright, but the orange french toast was awful. It was saugy and the orange zest did not pair well with french toast. I'll stick to a safer choice next time instead of branching out. We also got their hashbrowns because the last time we went we LOVED them (they have just a little bit of cheese melted on them), but this time they were extremely burnt, and the portion was TINY. Really disappointed. We will still be back because we love the atmosphere and in the past we've had great experiences, but we hope that next time will be a lot better.

    Our server was really cool but the restaurant ran out of burgers! Not his fault of course. The food we ordered was not good. No seasoning on steak and it was overcooked. Fried chicken was overly breaded and over fried.
