Siena - East Greenwich
We were happy with everything except being seated next to the kitchen door.
Boyfriends birthday dinner
I have dined at Siena a few years ago and it was outstanding. I had the Tagliatelle Bolognese and it was tasteless. My granddaughter had the pollo Milanese. She said it was very disappointing . The rest of the dinners were just ok. The Calamari Balsamico was excellent. The total bill with tip was $300; too much money to pay for a dinner celebration that was just ok.
We are flying out at 7:30 tomorrow morning. Decided to stay over near the airport. Learned it was restaurant week in Providence. Always love Siena. Usually go to their restaurant on Federal Hill, but east Greenwich was closer to where we were staying. Have been here many years ago not long after it open. Thrilled to have had a meal at Siena tonight. Can always count on a delicious meal and generous servings.
Never had a bad experience and have been several dozen times over the last few years.
Love the food and Ivy is the best!
Siena never disappoints, always a treat! Superb mussels appetizer, veal rigatoni entree was quite tasty without being heavy, and the carrot cake torte might be one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. No joke! Our server was just a touch on the chatty side but other than that it was a delightful dining experience.
Great restaurant and delicious food. Will definitely go again.
We were at Siena, a favorite, for Restaurant Week. The choices were excellent, full size, full value, delicious. The chop was a favorite. Excellent.
While it's definitely the food then draws us to this restaurant please know that the service that we have received continually over the years has been impeccable, friendly, relaxed but always professional and thorough. This night was no different. Compliments to chef and wait staff
We had a lovely time. My dinner was excellent. Looking forward to going again.
Had company from out of town, and everyone one of us enjoyed Siena. All of our entrees were excellent, the service was excellent, and we will certainly return.
As always great food and service.
Food and service was outstanding!
Jake was an excellent server!
So worth our trip from New York. A must stop for us. Oddly, we always get the exact same table no matter time of day or time of year. Love it!
Desiree was incredible! We had a party of 12 and she took the best care of us!
Service was impeccable. We had the pleasure of being serviced by Jess who went out of her way to enhance our date night.
Upon arrival we were met by the hostess not in a welcoming manner. We were told our table wasn't ready We were not offered a place to sit or stand while we waited. We had people coming and going in front of us, behind us! We tried to get out of the way but there was no place to move to. They really need to have
a specific area for people to wait.
Our waiter was the saving grace of our dinner. Without him it would have been a complete disaster!!!!
Bug’s Life — Dining Experience.
We do frequent this restaurant, and tonight we were really looking forward to a special evening. I did request a table away from the bar and we were treated to a very nice table by the window. We started with a nice salad that we decided to share the Bruschetta appetizer. The appetizer was great, but before we finished it, we saw something moving -- a bug that was under the appetizer -- and we alerted the waitress to this. She was very nice and apologized and said she would be back to take the plate away and would let the manager know about it. It was so disgusting, and after a minute since she didn't return right away, I moved the plate off the table so we did not have to keep looking at it. It really changed our whole evening. We were not expecting anything more than a visit to our table by the manager apologizing as a measure of good will. I work in management in the hospitality field, and I know what a missed opportunity this was. The waitress could not have been sweeter and the meal was good, but I did lose my appetite. We dine out all the time and would probably not be in a hurry to return again.
Excellent dinner and service! We shared everything, inclusive of a Caesar salad, chicken dish and penne w/ vodka sauce and scripelli with gelato... all delicious! We often dine here in the early evening, before its busy and my only complaint is that we are frequently seated in a fairly empty area, but next to the only other diners there! You can’t help but overhear each other... awkward! And too embarrassing to say , “Can we sit somewhere else?” Doesn’t stop us from coming back to one of our very favorite places!
Great birthday dinner! Food and wine was delicious. Nice atmosphere.
We celebrated our 48th wedding anniversary a few evenings ago with my brother & sister and their spouses. Everything about it was perfect - the entire staff was attentive and our waitress, Abby, was awesome. (Happy wedding day, Abby!!!!) The food was outstanding: calamari, caprese salad, arugula salad with blueberries, baked lemon scallops, eggplant parmesan, eggplant rollatini, swordfish tips, and pollo di fichi (fig & pancetta!). Shared lemon creme brûlée with blueberries (to die for!). Thanks for a perfect evening. See you again soon!
Eaten there several times and it’s consistently excellent food and service
Food was good, Jake our waiter was exceptional, Ambience was good ,BUT I DIDN’T LIKE THE FACT THAT WHEN I MADE A RESERVATION ON OPEN TABLE AND WAS CALLED BY KATLYN TO CONFIRM OUR RESERVATION I HAD REQUESTED TO SIT IN THE FRONT OVAL ROOM AND WAS LED TO BELIEVE WE COULD DINE THERE , BUT IT DIDN’T HAPPEN! TURNS OUT IT DOESN’T MATTER! IT IS FIRST COME FIRST SERVE!
My lady and I both enjoyed our food immensely. It was a busy time yet our waitress and staff were great at getting each course and attention to our needs through our dining experience. Great team and food. A little loud, expected with so many people on an early Saturday night. We will be back.
Food and service were amazing. A favorite special occasion restaurant
The perfect father’s day celebration. I wish I remembered out waitress’ name, she was awesome!
Siena is always great. The food is delish and the service is just right. We are always taken right on time!
We enjoyed our meal
Siena is always a great experience and an excellent meal. We were disappointed with the change in Bruschetta on the menu. We were so looking forward to the Bruschetta Con Fungi which was excellent only to find it replaced with a different version. It does not come close. I will say my filet special was awesome and the penne pink vodka is always good. I realize menus change with the seasons, but that Bruschetta Con Fungi was some of the best ever. I hope it comes back soon. We will be back too! Don't you worry.
Food and service excellent. Too loud for my parents, between music, bar noise and TV. Overall lovely, delicious dinner.
Great place to celebrate a graduation!
We'll be back. The food was tremendous. Location in a strip mall was the least appealing thing.
Our server Jess was AMAZING! She made great recommendations and helped us select drinks.
Food wasjust OK. Priced to high for ok. Was much better years ago,but now the bar has been raised in North Kingstown and farther south in Rhode ISLAND .
Sat outside tonight, always try the wine special and haven’t been disappointed. Everything was great as always!! Jake was our server and he was excellent. One thing my wife loves is when her water glass is always full, great job Jake and staff.
Siena never disappoints. Food was outstanding!
Can always be sure of a great meal and service at Sienna and my last visit was no exception! Our waitress was phenomenal and the appetizers, salads and entrees were delicious. No room for dessert.
