San Marino Soho
Complimentary House Made Sambuca
It takes 3-4 months to make our Sambuca, which is so much different then the regular one. After your meal it is the best thing you can have especially if its complimentary.

Excellent ambiance and service. Noise level low, food very good. Excellent venue for our group of 9!
This place is great! The service is spectacular and very gracious. The food, we all had different pastas, Cacio y Pepe, fettuccine with mushrooms, and tagliatelle with lamb ragu. Each one was so delicious.
Food was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our experience.
Great pastas, terrific service.
Warm, upbeat and intimate setting for a special birthday (which coincided with New Year’s Eve). The waitstaff and manager were exceptionally welcoming; the entrees, desert and wine were delicious. It was an ideal dining experience. We look forward to returning!
Old school. Very good. Quiet lunch. I had their special pasta of the day. the pasta was fresh and wonderful. Very simple dish. I mixed in an appetizer which was mushrooms, artichokes and olives and the two together--divine.
The service was solicitous but inept and we waited more than an hour for simple pasta dishes.
Excellent appetizers. Veal ravioli was outstanding. Wait staff was attentive but also allowed us time to enjoy our meal. It’s fairly priced for the food and experience. Definitely worth the trip we would visit again next time we are in the city.
Service was amazing, very attentive. We had a party of 9 we were in a private room which was great because we were quite loud. Apps were a little slow to come out and staggered which was awkward because some got theirs and then had to wait for everyone else’s but all were delicious.
One of the best restaurant in the area. I was here with my family for a dinner and the meals were so delicious. The service was outstanding and the ambience was relaxing and quiet. Would definitely come back and would recommend this 100%.
The dining room was spacious in a part of the city where sometimes you can be elbow to elbow with strangers. Service was spot on, attentive and prompt. Food was excellent and reasonably priced considering the area. Highly recommend.
Amazing Romantic place with great service and food!
One of the best restaurants in the city. Loved it!
Best described as classy. Beautifully decorated with tables nicely spaced, so no feeling of being crowded. Attentive, friendly and professional maitre d' and wait staff. Expansive menu and food was nicely presented and delicious. A wonderful dining experience.
We all thought our food was out of this world delicious! The service was impeccable and staff treated us very warmly and courteously. We could not have been more pleased with our experience at San Marino Soho. All through dinner we kept talking about how famulous the food tasted. Upon leaving we promised ourselves that we would return again soon for a repeat performance. San Marino Soho is a very special restaurant and should not be missed. Enjoy!
If eating delicious homemade pasta from a wheel of Parmigiano cheese served tableside is on your bucket list, this place is for you! (And if it isn't, it SHOULD be.) We dined here for my Wife's birthday and could not have been happier with the meal, the service or the ambiance !
There was a Christmas party and we were relegated to a corner that felt more like a closet. The maître d was only mildly sympathetic. It was not a great experience for a business meeting.
Everything was wonderful! Especially loved the Chicken Marsala!
We were surprised that a restaurant in a hotel could be so good. Excellent business lunch and very attentive friendly service. We will be back.
Don't be fooled by the fact that you have to walk through the under-construction facade of the adjacent Four Points hotel to get here -- the restaurant is not affiliated with that budget hotel. Instead, you step into Tuscany where Italian waiters deliver friendly, seamless service and the kitchen provides fabulous, not-too-pricey cuisine. I started with a perfect prosciutto melone, went on to gluten-free penne arrabiata (fantastic sauce), and then had a perfectly seared medium-rare filet mignon. We also shared octopus for the table and had some amazing Italian wine that usually doesn't leave Italy. Highly recommended!
Don’t be fooled by the entrance off the hotel. It’s hidden in the back and you’d think maybe no. The food is excellent as well as the service. I would definitely go back.
Wow! Service was remarkably good. What a hidden GEM... little bit off the busy path but worth it go! Wide variety of menu items, not to mention their weekly specials, it was hard to pick because every dish sounded great. Great atmosphere, wonderful service, and fantastic food. You get every dollar out of this restaurant!
This place really caught me off guard how exceptional the food and service was. Our party of 4 came in expecting a decent Italian meal but from the minute walked in we all loved it. After quickly being seated we were give an opti to choose our bread . Right we received olives and fried zucchini. The calamari, carbonara all had a great flavor. My friends loved the food same way . Overall fantastic experience and amazing food .
Needed a place in the area and didn't want wait until after 9 to get in. Found San Marino and saw it was reasonable and had tables available. It turned out to be better then expected and really enjoyed it. Had the Seafood Pasta and it was great.
A great place to eat when visiting the New York Public Radio Greene Space. This restaurant is right across the street. The food is excellent and the service was very attentive and friendly.
Very very nice restaurant, delicious food and the service was great, We ordered the specials that the waiter explained and it was a great choice, very very delicious. We loved the Italian music it was very good playlist selection which went very good with the Italian food and wine. At the end we tasted the sambuca which I highly recommend. Great restaurant ambience, food service, highly recommended
The food was excellent, like always.
I have been here before and am always satisfied.
It's too bad this little gem is hidden in the Sheraton as it has a warm atmosphere (once you get past the outside bar or hotel lobby) and the food and service are exceptional.
Greeted with a plate of olives and another plate of zucchini, the ambiance begins immediately.
Everything was excellent!! Will be back.
A terrific value--probably because of its slightly off-beat location. Excellent food, service and atmosphere.
This was our first time to the restaurant and we would definitely return for a meal the next time we return to New York City as well as telling others about it. The staff were completely professional and attentive. Besides the wonderful food, they certainly helped make our first night in the city a most memorable one. Saluti San Marino Soho!
A wonderful, charming Italian restaurant with delicious food and excellent and warm staff. A great, quiet place for a business lunch
Had dinner with my wife . Excellent food and service .
Few times i been in this place and was never dissapointed ! Had a few drinks at the outdoor bar and after we dinned inside the restaurant. We shared a few appetizers like prosciutto di parma and calamari fritti which were outstanding. Probably the best calamari ever. Tender to perfection and the breading was so perfect and crispy. I loved the Branzino Al Cartoccio (wrapped in aluminum foil), the server was right that all the flavor and aroma remained inside it. My wife had the homemade fettuccine pasta with lamb ragu which she loved as well. Serice was excellent as well. This is a hidden gem ! Strongly recommend...
I can't say enough about how wonderful my experience was at San Marino!
All of the Staff, from walking in to leaving where friendly, helpful, full of suggestions and recommendations and attentive at all time!
Then, the food was terrific! Tasty, abundant and, made with love!
Highly recommend !!!
Lovely dining room with excellent food, quiet environment, professional service.
The food is delicious and has a light touch. I had the eggplant rollatini appetizer and the ravioli with mushroom sauce--I'm still enjoying it long after having eaten it. A friend had the branzino, cooked in foil, moist and tasty.
I do not drink, but bottles of wine adorn the restaurant.
The cannolis are the best I've ever had. (Indeed, until eating at San Marino, I didn't even know cannolis can be ranked, but these are my favorites.)
The staff is friendly, charming, and attentive, yet discreet.
I've been to the restaurant three times. Once it was fairly busy, but the other two times it had only a few patrons, and I found the spacious, quiet ambiance at once soothing and refreshing.
Excellent food and service! Would highly recommend! Prices are extremely reasonable for that area of Manhattan. We arrived early for our reservation and were immediately seated. Drinks arrived quickly.
Very nice specials! It was a bit loud due to a large party of about 20 young men. It was nice after they left! I will definitely return when I am in the area!!
The aervice, food and ambiance was excellent. The waiters were personable, friendly and very attentive. Also the complementary home made Sambucca is so delicious and smooth. A really special treat for sure!!! I'd definitely recommend this restuarant for a quiet relaxing dinner!!!
