The Blue Plate abrió en 1999 como lugar informal donde amigos y vecinos pueden disfrutar de los mejores ingredientes que las estaciones ofrecen. Los propietarios Cory Obenour y Jeff Trenam han creado un espacio confortable con 3 salones comedor diferentes, casa uno decorado con el trabajo de artistas locales. En la parte trasera dispone de un exuberante y perfumado jardín. La cocina se mantiene comprometida a utilizar las mejores carnes y productos locales en sus platos rústicos mediterráneos y sus clásicos americanos. En colaboración con los agricultores de Bay Area, el Blue Plate está diseminando el concepto "blue plate special": comida informal, asequible, deliciosa y responsable.

Linda experiencia! Amazing experience! Desde que llegamos todo fue genial, el recibimiento y la mesa romántica para dos al lado de una terracita hermosa. Absolutamente todo lo que pedimos estuvo delicioso, el bisque de apio con vainilla, los calamares al grill, la ensalada con aderezo de pecorino. La atención A1, la actualización del app de OpenTable nos ayudó casi en tiempo real a ver nuestros pedidos y pagar la cuenta. Súper eficientes y rápidos! Una chica súper buena onda (que parecía a cargo del restaurant) iba mesa por mesa preguntando si todo estaba bien y era tan amable que fue un placer conocerla. Como si fuera poco el postre fue cortesía de la casa por ser nuestra primera vez ahí y celebrar algo especial! Un helado de limón artesanal que se lo recomiendo a todos! Vayan, no se van a arrepentir ni un segundo!
