                                As we checked in at the counter, our special request had not been acknowledged. We request side by side seating for a more personal and intimate experience while we eat. We were going to be seated across from one another. We had to ask to have a side by side seating arrangement. We were seated next to a loud party of 4. They were so loud they overshadowed our experience as we couldn't converse because we couldn't hear ourselves communicate due to the volume at the next table. We asked for romantic, quiet, and side by side seating. The obnoxious volume of the table across from us ruined our first experience at Ruth Chris. Disappointed we left but it wasn't due to the food. The salmon was great. It could have only been better if served over garlic mashed potatoes. The heirloom salad lacks in quantity as it is a single serve; certainly not a shareable size. My husband's cowboy ribeye topped Oscar style was delicious. Juicy and tender, but he wasn't wowed and overly zealous with the flavor. When He asked me to pick between Ruth Chris or Tony's, I'm sorry, but Tony's supercedes. Our waitress was not only polite but friendly as well. A good intrapersonal relationship is important in the public service industry. Thank you, IRuth Chris, for an evening loud enough to say it was shared among strangers.

                                I have been wanting to go to Ruth’s Chris Steak House for years and I was not disappointed. The steaks (the truffle crust in particular) were delicious, the service was excellent and we had a terrific experience overall. I will definitely be coming back.

                                This was our first time dining here and it was wonderful. The location was perfect, walking distance from our hotel, our server Michelle was fantastic! The food delicious and plentiful. We will definitely be back!

                                I have visited several different locations and always had an above average experience. Excellent food and service. 2nd time to this location as I was there several years ago.

                                Our party of 4 was seated in a not so crowded part of the restaurant. We were celebrating 2 birthdays. Our waitress, Michelle, was so accommodating and gracious to all our requests. We started with the Veal Osso Buco Ravioli and the Seared Ahi Tuna. Both were very flavorful and juicy and the meat fresh with the marination sauce well seasoned. I found the pasta just slightly thicker and chewier in some spots but worth the inside. Then we had Ceasar salads that were a perfect portion for each of us with just the right amount of dressing and Parmesan. We ordered the Oscar style steaks with lump crab meat, asparagus and béarnaise sauce. The nice gentleman that delivers all the steaks made sure to warn us how hot the sizzling plates are. The smell of the steaks wafting into the air was so delightful to the senses it made you salivate. The steaks were so tender, juicy and full of flavor that you wanted to savor every morsel of it in which each of us did. The béarnaise sauce was good but congealed on top of the steak and to me took away from the delightful experience of the steak. At the end of our meal, our lovely waitress, Michelle, brought the 2 in our party celebrating birthdays each a little personal cheesecake. They were wonderful and not too sweet with a graham cracker crust. The manager checked on us and the entire experience is one we wish to experience again soon! This Ruth’s Chris is located in the Hyatt hotel next the St Louis Arch. We parked in the Hyatt hotel parking lot but for the restaurant, we should have valeted which would have been cheaper. We also made reservations for the restaurant just to be certain we were able to get in, seated and dine. It is recommended through OpenTable.

                                This location benefits from having one of the best vantage points of the arch in all of downtown St. Louis. It’s also in a great location for walking to see other sites. Don’t love that parking isn’t validated for guests though. Main feedback about this visit is the awful wait times to be greeted, order taken, and food delivered. I was dining on a late Sunday evening and the restaurant was not busy at all. Perhaps worst of all was my filet and garlic potatoes were served absolutely drowning in butter and my Caesar salad drowning in dressing. I had previously only dined at the Coral Gables Ruth Chris and the food experience was night and day in comparison. Of course after spending nearly 1 hour in just waiting to be greeted and to receive food I wasn’t interested and sending back to then wait more. With a cheesecake dessert that also had an off taste I spent over $100 including tip to leave moderately hungry and certainly disappointed.

                                We were visiting the city and the restaurant was in our Hotel. This is now the 3rd Ruth Chris that I have eaten at in 3 different states. Always great food, great service and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended!
