Ruth's Chris Steak House - Los Cabos
I ate here the year it opened and there were multiple issues, and it didn't resemble any of the RC locations I'd eaten at in the states or otherwise. I figured after all this time since the restaurant was still open they'd figured things out.
I was wrong. It was just as bad as it was years ago.
RC should be embarrassed to have their name on the door.
The whole experience was sloppy from food execution and presentation to trying to push expensive wine with no knowledge of what was being pushed when questioned about the recommendation. We ordered a less expensive bottle only to discover they were "out". Uh huh.
My NY Strip, ordered had no flavor whatsoever and tasted like a steak that was frozen and then microwaved. Despite being ordered at MR+ it was cooked to a med well (faint signs of pink in the center) and one side of the sinewy, inedible disappointment was brown for about 1/3 of it's thickness. I sawed through and choked down half, or at least the parts that didn't have tendons running through it.
Far and away the worst meal in 10 days in Mexico on this trip, and the worst steak I've had anywhere all year.
I'll never be back.

Theee of us enjoyed our dinner at Ruth’s Chris steak house on a lovely evening in Cabo. We ate outside by the harbor and the view was great, but you can also eat indoors. The steaks were delicious—our party had the ribeye and fillet. The barbecue shrimp appetizer contains 5 shrimp and is delicious. We had the Caesar salad also. There is a good wine list—both whites and reds. The wait staff was very attentive and spoke very good English and also helped us with a few Spanish words. We shared the apple tart for dessert and it was big enough to share three ways and was very good. It was a lovely dinner and I would highly recommend this restaurant while in Cabo if you want an excellent dinner.

Service and food were very good and on par for Ruth Chris! Arturo was our waiter and he was top notch and we had wonderful service.
We were there for my wife’s birthday and they made us feel like royalty. Salvador, our waiter, was outstanding; very courteous and attentive. Sheila, the hostess was also very delightful. The first time we ate at this Ruth’s Chris was six years ago and as it was then, so it is now; our favorite of all the Ruth’s Chris’ we’ve eaten at.

Arturo was our waiter - he was very personable, entertaining and attentive. We had an amazing dinner outside enjoying the view of the marina. Each dish was prepared perfectly! We had spicy lobster as an appetizer, then a combination of filets and lobster tails as our main course along with the au gratin potatoes and au gratin broccoli as our sides. We finished with the key lime pie, which was A M A Z I N G! For an after dinner drink, my husband had a sipping tequila - the after drink cart is impressive! The team also put together a celebratory dessert for my daughter-in-law who is expecting her first child later this year. I'd highly recommend this Ruth Chris but I've yet to find a Ruth Chris I wouldn't recommend. :-)
This is a special place for us to come when in Cabo. We celebrate birthdays, anniversary's and many times just our last night in Cabo. The staff, let by Yuri, are attentive to every need. The hospitality compares to none better! Food is always consistent and up to the highest standards! Ruth, herself, would be proud! Drinks, wine, appetizers, entrees, sides, bread and even the butter - the best! The steaks are always the best but the seafood is just as good!
The food and service were spectacular! Quality, freshness and taste of the food was as good as I have had at any Ruth Chris anywhere. My wife and I go every year for our anniversary and seems to get better every time
Ruth's Chris never disappoints. My husband and I came here for my birthday and to also celebrate our anniversary. From the moment we walked in we received excellent service. Salvador was our waiter and he and Carlos made our experience perfect. They were very attentive and friendly.
My husband had the surf and turf which consisted of a filet and 2 lobster tails. He thought it was excellent and ate almost every bite. The filet was not the best cut he has had so that could have been better, but it was good. You just can't beat a steak served on a 500 degree sizzling plate with butter melted over it. The lobster tails were cooked perfectly with good taste and were very fresh.
I had the stuffed chicken breast. It was also served on a 500 degree sizzling plate. This is one of the best chicken's I have ever had. I come back here over and over because it has always been excellent.
I started with the Harvest Salad and my husband had the Ruth's Chopped Salad. We both loved our salads. Whoever created them did a fantastic job as all the flavors work perfectly together to make an excellent salad.
We had the au gratin potatoes and broccoli au gratin as our side dishes. Salvador made a little fun of us for all the cheese we were eating, but we have no regrets :-) Purely delicious.
The night ended with them surprising us with rose petals and birthday confetti on the table as well as a birthday song with a complimentary carrot cake for my birthday. We also ordered the trio of desserts (chocolate sin cake, creme brulee and cheese cake). All the desserts were also excellent. We definitely left stuffed.
I highly recommend all these dishes and this restaurant. Everything we had was excellent and the service was top notch. So happy we visited and we will be back.

Steaks were overcooked. We eat at Ruth’s Chris all the time and this one in particular too... but this time it was just not up to par
We ate at Ruth Chris for a special evening out. Our waiter and food was delicious! I rate everything at a 5. The only thing that kind of spoiled it was the noice coming from outside ( a clown show outside on the pier) a little hard to hear the others at the table.

Dining at Ruth Chris has become a tradition as part of our vacations in Cabo, and we have never been disappointed. Last night was no exception. Our dining experience was exceptional with wonderful service from Salvador, Arturo, and the rest of the gracious, friendly wait staff. Of course, the food and the wine were delicious and the beautiful setting of the Cabo marina was unparalleled.
Great service from Salvador and the entire crew. The manager came and personally greeted us to ensure we had a great dining experience. The next time we are in Cabo we will definitely return!
Not much action at this location and place is never full anymore. Sizes seem smaller and prices higher. Will probably not return although I live in Cabo in The Winter. Sorry, just not the same!

I love celebrating big milestones in my life at Ruth's Chris Steak House. I live in Seattle. When I finished my Master's degree, I wanted to go to RCSH. However, why stay in Seattle? After all, we take trips when my kids graduate HS. Surely I should get a trip, too! That line of thinking brought my family of 4 and 10 of our closest friends to Cabo and my big celebratory dinner was at the Cabo RCSH. What a great idea! I felt completely spoiled by the staff, and the view of the marina was beautiful. We ate outside, and enjoyed delicious meals and beverages. It's not the first restaurant you think of when you go to Mexico, but it was an amazing experience, and I highly recommend going there. Thank you to our waiters and staff for making our time there so great!!

The website had crab dishes but there were not any on the menu once we arrived.

We sat on the patio outside at the Marina. Beautiful night. The meal was great - shared the petite filet and the Au Gratin potatoes. Steak was served on a sizzling hot plate and it was probably one of the best meals we have had in a long time. Ruth’s Chris does not disappoint. Capped off the meal with bread pudding - yum!
Beautiful location overlooking the marina. Food was excellent. The service from Emilio was outstanding. He made a great dinner out with friends a truly special occasion. Highly recommend!!
Traveled to Cabo for spring break and had scheduled a reservation for dinner Friday evening. The food was great and tasty. I ordered a 12 oz. Ribeye Steak, caesar salad. My bf ordered a Filet with
lobster tail and lobster mac n cheese for the both of us. The waiter Salvador treated us well. Overall experience it was great.
Arturo and his staff were terrific. Lobster appetizer, Amazing blue crumle with balsamic vinegret mixed greens, Cowboy steak med rare and their best Tempranillo! Red wine Priceless.

Been to a lot of Ruth’s Chris.
We were craving some American food and it was my daughter 18th Birthday so we made a reservation.
The food quality was great, however the Lobster Mac was a little different due to the cheese they use, and the mix veggies are raw, not sautéed or cooked so that was different, they don’t have a sea food tower at this location or the chilean sea bass which was a huge bummer.
Overall I was very pleased and would definitely go back again. The service was amazing and it’s the typical Ruth’s Chris pricing.
For the past 6 New Years Eves, we have celebrated at Ruth's Chris in Cabo. This year we were seated outside without a working heater. My lamb chops came under cooked and by the time they were returned, the rest of my dinner was cold. And so were we. Three gas heat towers were inefficient for their outdoor dining area. My husband's steak was not the quality of years past. We are done with this restaurant in Cabo. Don't waste an evening there.
In the past I've had mediocre experience at Ruth's Chris Albert not this particular location but I decided to try again after several years and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Our waiter, Emilio, was wonderful. I put my faith in him for a wine recommendation and he didn't disappoint. He suggested a Mexican wine, Rolu, a red blend, and he hit it out of the park. A full bodied red, that had an incredibly, smooth finish and seemed to get better with every sip. Add in a wedge salad, the medium rare filet, a baked potato, with traditional toppings, and a sampler dessert plate, made this meal all but complete. What better way to cap off this evening than with my favorite port, Taylor Fladgate 20 year Tawny. They did have the 40 year, but in my very novice opinion, the 20 year is just better. All in all, this was a wonderful meal and experience. Job well done guys!!
The dinner and dessert was amazing! Our waiter Emilio was very helpful explaining the menu and making recommendations. He also surprised us with a dessert platter and candles for our engagement. It was an awesome experience.
