The sercice was outstanding. Wait staff was fun and tended to our every need.
Food left a lot to be desired for what you pay. Service could have been a lot better.
The food is very good and the menu is extensive with brunch offerings as well as the full menu. The service is professional and well handled. I like the place and have returned several times.
Always meets our expectations.
The Tortellini Primavera was the best I’ve ever had. And they had gluten-free option for my companion. Sumptuous Affogato for afters. Only letdown was the solo violinist, who was very mediocre.
Fantastic food and impeccable service! The violinist made our experience even more special.
Service attentive and delicious antipasti and main entrees.
This beautiful Italian restaurant housed in a charming Georgetown, DC centuries old building provided a perfect dining experience. The service was flawless (attentive but not obtrusive.) The food was perfectly prepared, delicious, and presented beautifully. The house Chianti is yummy, and the chocolate dessert was The Best.
Indoor, outdoor, and balcony seating is available.
Reservations are recommended.
We will gladly return to Ristorante Piccolo.
Charming environment, warm ambience and excellent quality meal - strongly recommend!
We love the food and ambiance of the restaurant. We live an hour away and still make time to drive in to dine here
The food was delicious as always and the service is top-notch!
We went on a weekday so I’m not sure how things are on busy weekends but the food was tasty, the service was pleasant, and the quirky unique ambiance was a good change of pace. We sat on the balcony and the place had a certain type of charm that we really enjoyed. Our waiter was hard core Italian so there was a bit of a language barrier but it wasn’t really a problem. We had the Mussels to start. They were cooked nicely and the broth was delicious. My husband had the steak and I had the Lobster Ravioli. Steak was cooked perfectly and the Ravioli was made from scratch. Dessert was just okay. We’ll definitely be eating here again. But we’ll probably have dessert somewhere else.
Wonderful anniversary dinner 💕
Nice dinner spot for Italian food. Strolling violinist. The back room was quite noisy, though with a loud group near us. Will definitely return.
Great food and service as always. My favorite Italian in DC.
Wonderful dining experience!
Food and service were great!! Will definitely be going back!
It was a great dining experience. The food and service was great!!! My fiance and I are definitely going back again soon.
great meal and the service was excellent. our server was also very entertaining
Good good, good wine and good service
Excellent food and atmosphere every time. Hidden gem of Georgetown
The food was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing!! Also located in such a great central location in Georgetown. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting!
We had a wonderful dinner here recently with the family (two adults, three kids). The food was wonderful as was the service. Like others, Frankie went out of his way to welcome everyone. They offered good social distancing and yet the restaurant seemed full and lively. Food was great and the portion sizes were perfect.
Great experience, celebrate our anniversary had a wonderful time.
Lovely food and great service. Willing to customize anything!
We went for our engagement dinner with our parents and it was perfect. The service is excellent, Frankie above and beyond to make our outdoor table perfect. There was a live violin player that made the night romantic. Our server did a great job with recommendations!
I took my niece out for a “fancy” date night out. This place exceeded my expectations. From the decor, ambience and the more then friendly staff. She has not stopped talking about it since. I will defiantly be coming back.
Yummy brunch... a perfect day!
Enjoyed our meal here. The waiter was helpful in steering us towards the better dishes. One of the best raviolis I have ever eaten
food was great. cocktails could have been better.
My 87-year-old mother, my boyfriend and I had a lovely evening at Ristorante Piccolo. We were seated by a fireplace where the violinist immediately began to serenade my mother.
Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. Everything, from my Bellini cocktail to our scrumptious desserts, was delicious.
Our starters, salad caprese and tomato soup, along with the hot, fresh bread brought to us, were all extremely fresh and tasty. Standout main plates include my boyfriend's pasta with seafood, my steak on a bed of sauteed spinach and baby potatoes, and my mother's veal scallopine.
For dessert, my boyfriend had vanilla ice cream, over which espresso and shaved chocolate were tossed. My mother had chocolate cake and I had maybe the best cannoli of my life.
Thank you, Ristorante Piccolo for a fabulous meal to celebrate spring and our newfound freedom, made possible by Covid vaccinations.
We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Ristorante Piccolo celebrating our anniversary. Everyone was warm and engaging, the ambience was perfect with the fireplace and violinist and most importantly the food was delicious. I had been in the past but had forgotten how much I truly enjoyed this restaurant. We look forward to returning!
The appetizers, Fried Mozzarella and the Aranchini were very good. The main course, specifically the marinara sauce tasted like soap water was used in the cooking and their award winning Ravioli came out cold.
As always, our food and service was wonderful. We visit from New Jersey often and make sure to dine at Ristorante Piccolo.
Life in the times of Covid. Had a table out on the street on a beautiful 65 degree afternoon in Georgetown. The food was very nicely prepared. I had the Lasagna Bolognese. 31st is like a restaurant row. Ristorante Piccolo was a treat. Worth the while to try them out.
Fantastic food,service and ambiance.
Lunch special was delicious, we had fish and will be back!
Outdoorxseating, and covid safe
Frankie made my daughter’s birthday very special and arranged a specially prepared abs decorated dessert dish, and our waiter also sang Happy Birthday!! Frankie also arranged our seating in the balcony!! A wonderful experience and delicious food from beginning to end!!
Incredible italian food and cute location. Well done meal & extensive menu
