The Ledbury calificaciones y reseñas
My wife and I went to The Ledbury on the last night of our vacation and couldn't be happier. The food was delicious and the service team was outstanding. It didnt feel at all uptight and we couldn't have been happier. Thank you to the while staff. We ordered the tasting menu but didnt get the wine pairing.
The Ledbury did not disappoint. I was very keen to try it out, especially after it climbed to number 14 on the top 50 list of restaurants. The food was incredible and the service was out of this world. We were made to feel special throughout out lunch. I would highliy recommend it for dates. The only con would be that the restaurant is a tad quite once a few tables leave as there is no background music (or it may have been very soft). In my view, background music would add to cosy and romantic ambience.
Can be one of my best of Michelin restaurant in my view, I like the food, great service, so many details!
In particular, we teared off all the skin of the sourdough, then later they replace the plate with skin-less sourdough!! Sweetest ever!
And of course the food are brilliantly done. Truffle dish ( with egg) maybe the best I have ever experienced with truffle. Very high recommend!
This was booked to celebrate two birthday 's It was ultimately only two of us. We have been lucky enough to eat at some of the best restaurants and this currently sits at number One. Darren and his front of house team match the exquisite food seamlessly.
Another fantastic afternoon at the Ledbury.
A beautiful restaurant with stunning food and welcoming , friendly staff. Decided to choose from the 4 course a la carte menu , every course was delicious. Started with pumpkin soup then native lobster , beef for main and then brown sugar tart to finish, thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful and cannot wait to return.
Our third time for dinner. Though some elements of the menu seem to stay constant, one could read this as their trademark. Fabulous use of seasonal ingredients. Delightful service and dialogue with the wait staff and sommelier. Tasting menu is how we always order, with a pairing.
As usual, this restaurant is spot on and understated as ever. You feel as if you are visiting a friend for dinner, such is the relaxed yet faultless service.
I would advise some updating of the menu, especially the tasting menu which is compulsory at weekends. Some of the delicious dishes have been around for a while, so the regulars are ready for some new exciting dishes.
The Ledbury is exactly what you expect, the food is amazingly good and the staff is attentive. The dining room is small, which in my opinion is a plus, enhancing the pampering. I have enjoyed every single dish, but the winner is the fish in every form, I loved in particular the wasabi scallops which I suggest. The wine list is massive and the choice is vast. The service is perfect, and the staff is super friendly.
I believe this is quite a good restaurant for omnivores. Trouble is, as vegetarians, we had a different experience. At our table we had a mix of veg and omnivore guests.
They do offer a "vegetarian menu", which reads well. Unfortunately most of the dishes were hugely disappointing. Three of the 8 dishes were identical to, or at least similar to, dishes on the omnivore menu. These were by far the by far the best courses.
Several times the meat dishes were well received, but the veggie dish that appeared at the same time was dull, insipid and bland. The "carrot" dish in particular was basically a boiled carrot with no other flavour or texture to it whatsoever.
If you're going to offer a Veggie menu - make it just as good as the Omnivore menu, otherwise don't bother.
NOT recommended for Vegetarians - it's simply not worth it.
We've been going since the start, and have always loved it. Always said it was the best restaurant in London. We hadn't been back for a couple of years. This return was a disappointment. Firstly, too many vegetable dishes, and not even one piece of wonderfully cooked fish (the tiniest piece of eel you've ever come across). Every dish another type of vegetable this way or that way - though yes, we had deer at the end, which was the best dish. One would have thought, in the depths of winter, we'd have had more substantial ingredients. One thing that totally bugged me too: I had been in a week before asking for a certain table (No 21). It's certainly not one of the 'best' tables, but my husband and I used to always sit there, so it became kind of special to us. They said, 'Sure, no problem, we've put it on the booking'. When I emailed to confirmed the table, just a couple of days before we went, they said 'Yes, it's absolutely on there - table 21'. When we arrived at 6.30 (our booking time), there was a couple sitting at that table. Shoddy admin, I'd say! Anyway, to summarise - sadly, a disappointment and not sure we'd now return. We used to be in awe of the cooking, believe me. Every dish inspired us to return. Not this time.
What a lovely place. I understand why it is on the top 20 best restaurant in the world list. Me and my husband went for the tasting menu with wine pairings. And wine choices for each course were just beautiful and compliments each dish. Service was 5 star too. Highly recommended with the wine pairings.
Really wonderfull. i discover new flavour and the coordination of food is excellent. new experience. the chef has great pallet. It helps me to notice how vivid my taste and smell can be.
the service is outstanding. Very friendly. Outstanding experience. Well worth the price
Super! Well composed and interesting dishes. Some are absolutely outstanding and personal.
Great, correct yet relaxed and friendly service. Top notch! Very nice and up to date wine list with good wines on all price levels.
It's obvious that the people at Ledbury are on top of what they do and that they strive to deliver the best to their guests. Fantastic!
The food was as good as you would expect, it really is fantastic. Every course was great, there were no weak points. The very pleasant surprise was the service. It was 100% professional but also totally unpretentious and friendly at the same time. I cannot fault the experience. Thoroughly deserves its reputation.
