Lawry's The Prime Rib - Beverly Hills calificaciones y reseñas
The prime rib was incredible and the waitress we had, Nicole, was awesome. Having said that, I thought the hostess was a little rude and treated us disrespectfully. We've have been there before and have had great experiences. I was surprised that Lawry's would him someone like her. We were there last Sunday at about 6:00 p.m.
Food was exceptional. Service was below average. We could not get refills on our drinks after asking twice. We also ordered lobster, which never came but was charged. We ordered mashed potatoes in place of another side, but it did not get replaced. Seemed liked they tried to rush us out, and I had to ask for the desert menu to get it.
We had dinner here to celebrate a couple of birthdays. Prime rib was good and carved at the table, with different cut size selections available. Their specialty is prime rib, but the lobster trio was also tasty.
Also note that for a split meal, they charge $15. That seems quite excessive, but I suppose they do that to discourage sharing a larger cut of prime rib between 2 people.
Go early to enjoy complimentary meatballs in the bar area. Valet parking $8.
Our first visit to a Lawry's was our first date -- a meal in Chicago twenty years ago. We shall not wait so long for our next visit. Great, professional service combined with great execution on signature dish -- Prime Rib. The spinning salad bowl and the cart with the racks of meat are a great spectacle. Californians hear about the Beef Bowl every year and it's great fun to feel the connection with that event and enjoy a great meal.
It was a great experience for our Valentine's dinner. They had special menu for Valentines, however it was almost the same to order from the menu and choosing wine instead of having the champagne. Prime rib was good as always- melts in your mouth and cook to the point, bread pudding and mashed potatoes were good even the horseradish was good. The service and the waitress and her kickback were very attentive. We don't eat meat often but became almost a tradition to eat good prime rib once a year at Lawry's.
My wife and I dine at Lawry's several times a year. The food is excellent. The Prime Rib is delicious, the side orders very good and the desserts are some of the best I have ever had. If you have never had their Hot Fudge Sundae, you do not know what you are missing. The servers are always so very nice, fun and knowledgeable about the items on the menu.
their prime rib was NOT satisfactory. The meat we had was both over fatty and TOUGH, and we have been getting the same type of meat for the past few years, and we are customers for over 60 years. Either Lawry's has changed their supplier, or are buying a cheaper grade of prime rib, but Monday, I had to cut away at least a quarter of the prime rib, which was just fat (not marbled fat, as we used to get).
Not what is used to be at all. Had an issue with our table, the the manager and staff found us a new table where children were not screaming and throwing plates on the floor ! The Prime Rib is not the same as it was in days long ago, it was tough and chewy and did not taste or appear to be Prime. The meat was not seasoned properly therefore tasteless. The old time atmosphere of L.A. is still there but the food now disappoints ! Too Bad !
We made reservations for Valentines Day celebration. Service slow. Our waiter had a large party he was trying to attend to. Our experience was Not romantic at all. They put us at a little 24 x 48 inch table in an area that had 4 such tables side by side. Our food barely fit on table. Couldn't even see carving station or waiter making salads because had to do at end of aisle. Managers could care less when we complained. All they cared about was cramming more people in so they could make more money for a Saturday night. Had better experience at Vegas and Chicago locations. Would never go back to this location again.
