Yardbird Southern Table & Bar calificaciones y reseñas
A must-try. The food was nicely done - we ordered the southern fried chicken and the short ribs. The former had just the right texture - crispy and flavorful on the outside, and juicy on the inside. The latter had its meat falling off the bone and tasted rich and sumptuous like fine beef ribs should. The mixed drinks weren't bad either - the peach concoction I had a good balance of refreshing-ness and tangy-ness.
The greeters were nice too. They acted on our request to be seated earlier than our 9:30 pm reservation (it was very difficult to get a prime time table), and we ended up getting seated 30 minutes earlier than expected.
Our server was meh. She was efficient and did her job, but wasn't the friendliest or most welcoming. Maybe it had been a long day for her - traffic at the restaurant was pretty much non-stop at full capacity throughout our time there.
I would recommend dining at this restaurant.
Simply the best place to get authentic southern fried chicken with creative sides. The waffles are light and crunchy and I haven't found better biscuits anywhere! The watermelon with warm goat cheese is my favorite pre-dinner choice. Love this place! Never skip it when I'm in South Beach.
I liked the service, ambiance and liveliness of the restaurant. I ordered two Yardbird Manhattan's which were very good. The Side dishes, Roasted Cauliflower, Charred Okra and Cheddar Grits were very good. The main event entrees of the Fried Chicken and the BBQ roasted Chicken were very average, not bad by any means but the flavor profile, texture and overall taste was that of any run of the mill Fried Chicken restaurant. It was good it just did not stand out as better than what you could get at a hundred other places.
We were in South Beach for 4 nights. We went to Yardbird on Monday night and had a very good experience - food, service, atmosphere all terrific. On Wednesday we didn't have a reservation anywhere so we decided to head back. We were prepared to wait a while but ended up getting two seats at the bar right away. The bartender was extremely friendly and helpful, answering all our questions and making suggestions. He gave us his full attention even though the bar was busy. He was very pleased when we said we'd been there twice in three days!
Had a very nice dinner with my daughter (who is a fried chicken lover) while on vacation. The food was very good. I especially recommend the buttermilk biscuits. To die for. I am sorry to say I forgot my waiter's name, but he was a class act. I ordered a cosmopolitan and I could see from our table it was a bright red. That's a no-no. Before it even came to the table, my waiter had the bartender make it again until it was the correct color and consistency. It was perfect. So I ordered another. Again, it wasn't made the right way and my waiter had it corrected before it was brought to me. I really appreciate that. There is nothing worse than paying a lot for a bad drink.
The restaurant itself is very nice. Enough room in between table and lots of different type of seating. We would definitely come back and would recommend.
The food is all ways good when we go but this time we went the food was horrible the grits were burnt and had a bad taste and the shrimp wasn't so good... But we are all human can't all ways get it right but I'll be back too this establishment.....
This was our second visit, and food was just as good as we remembered. This time we went for dinner, and even mid-week the place is bustling. One big, a bit hectic, room. Tell noise level is acceptable, at least where we were seated.
Even with a reservation we had to wait a few minutes, but the service was impeccable the whole time, so it didn't really matter.
We all had the burger, and it was to die for! We all loved it, and even though I'm sure the rest of the items on the menu are just as good, I will have a hard time NOT choosing the burger again next time. And with the excellent service we got, we will be back...
We had such a great evening at Yardbird. Our server, Romeo, guided us though the menu without ever making us feel that we were being upsold - in fact, quite the opposite.
Food and drinks were excellent. Buzzing atmosphere without being too noisy.
A must visit place
I'm so glad I made the reservation for Valentine's Day lunch...we ordered the pre fixe lunch and we had a great time trying 2 apps and 2 desserts. The deviled eggs and fried green tomatoes apps are the faves . Fried chicken tasted very good. Biscuits are ok , but beignets are forgettable. Fried Oreos highly recommended... great service ...we will be back ✨✨✨
The food, as always, was amazing! The chicken and waffles made me hum as I ate them, they were soooo good.... we also tried the fried green tomatoes. I'd never tried that dish before, anywhere. They were very good! AND, the dessert! Fried Oreos on Oreo ice cream! Ridiculously good!!! Our server, was Adrian. He has the best attitude and was so attentive. We'll definitely be back
This was our first time there. Yardbird was recommended by a local and online reviews. We were not disappointed. My son and I both ordered the half fried chicken, split a side of Mac and an order of 4 biscuits and split a piece of key lime pie. Too much food (though we finished it!). Everything was fantastic. Caution...our bill with tip as $103, expensive for this "type" of food. But, most could easily share the half chicken. Highly recommend a visit here if in the area.
I drive all the way from Naples to visit Yardbird for lunch/brunch. The cocktails are hand crafted and leave you wanting a second and the menu offers endless deliciousness. From the Kale salad with cornbread croutons(my personal favorite) to fried chicken & waffles, pancakes & a smoked brisket sandwich to die for you'll leave feeling super satisfied! I would recommended making a reservation because the place is always busy. Service & staff are great every time I visit. Go see for yourself, enjoy!
OMG! Drove 2 hours to have brunch at Yardbird. Well worth the drive. The fried chicken was the best ever(well, my grandmas was the best). It was juicy inside and the crust crisp. The waffle was delicious, with syrup but even better just plain. The maple bacon doughnuts were scrumptious! Loved the urban atmosphere and the wait staff and manger were right there to take care of all our needs. Hope we can go back soon!!
First time at Yardbird. The food and service were both phenomenal! It was not inexpensive, but it was worth every penny! I would highly recommend the Eggs Benedict and a bourbon Bloody Mary if you are there for brunch. We will definitely be back!
