Yardbird Southern Table & Bar calificaciones y reseñas
We had a great meal at Yardbird--excellent food and service amidst a beautiful, chic and fun setting. Ordered one order of fries, carrots, green beans and fried chicken, then the peach cobbler for dessert. This was plenty for our family of four (which includes two teenage boys). Our waitress brought us a side of Mac and cheese on the house because the chicken was a little late in coming, which was so kind. The chicken came with a side of waffles and watermelon, and the whole effect was unique, delicious, and memorable. One of our best dining experiences to date.
I was really looking forward to our dinner since our last visit was outstanding. The grilled Caesar salad was dry and a bit bitter and needed more dressing. The fried chicken was uneven; the thigh was moist and delicious but the breast was dry. The cauliflower mashed potatoes were outstanding; flavorful and unusual. The biscuit with brisket was wonderful; the brisket was moist, melted in your mouth and had sweet onions on them. For dessert, the key lime pie had an unusual consistency like a dense cheesecake and did not exude much of a taste of lime and had a strange aftertaste. The service was excellent but the food was very uneven. I was so wildly looking forward to returning after our first visit; now I am not so sure I will make it a priority when I visit South Beach next year.
We have been waiting a long time to eat here and it did not disappoint! The food was amazing. I especially loved the biscuits and fried chicken. The smoked chicken on my kale salad was the crowning jewel. We ended the whole meal with made to order peach cobbler. Wish we could be regulars, but aren't Miami locals. Next time we're in town for sure!
I have been to Yardbird several times. The food wasn't hot. The chicken wasn't hot and fresh. It seemed as if the food was sitting for a while before it came out. The deviled eggs were very good. I was disappointed with the chicken and waffles.
The last two times I have visited Miami I have come here - and it is DELICIOUS. My mom and I first sat at the bar to have a drink before our table was ready which has a great scene.
We started with the Butter Lettuce and Grilled Mango salad, and had the Fine Fried Chicken with a side of Cauliflower Mashed Potatoes. We shared everything and it was the perfect amount of food and it was all phenomenal. You can't go wrong with the Fine Fried Chicken, that is a must.
Our bartender and waitress were both wonderful too!
Yardbird was recommended by a friend that visited Miami Beach a few months back. They said the chicken and waffles were amazing. Not sure if we went on an off night, but I wasn't as thrilled with the chicken and waffles. The chicken was a good fried chicken (nothing exceptional though), but the waffles were soggy. Once you added the bourbon maple syrup it made it even more unpalatable. Service for the most part was good with the exception of getting all our food at one time. When I asked the waiter about how large the chicken and waffles were, he said it was shareable, although recommended if we shared that we should order an appetizer. We took his opinion and shared the entree and ordered the roasted cauliflower and buttermilk biscuits to start. Everything came at one time and in less than 10 minutes of us placing our order. The roasted cauliflower was nothing to write home about and we only ate about half the dish. The buttermilk biscuits were good. The highlight of the meal was the Blackberry Bourbon Lemonade. Tables are really close together and getting in and out is difficult. Our whole experience lasted about an hour and a quarter which was really quick considering we ordered drinks and then our meal about 15-20 mins later. We definitely felt rushed!
Not the same anymore. The quality of food has dropped big time. The fried chicken was fried in old oil. Smellya be greasy now. Okra was too hard to chew. Biscuits were good but the crispy chicken in them was very oily. Blistered heirloom tomatoes were also not the same. Fried tomatoes blt was very greasy and tasteless
Wow, I enjoyed my meal so much Last year at when I returned to Miami I had to go back. The second visit was even better! Traditional sourthern dishes with extra flavor. I did not see many light offerings on the menu, so bring an appetite and be sure to reserve a table early, this place fills up quickly during peak times. When you taste the food, you will understand why.
The food is worth the wait. Best chicken and waffles in Miami. Can't go wrong with any option on the menu. The hostesses were overwhelmed and came across agitated. Servers were busy as well and didn't have time to give us an update on our food or come back and check if we needed anything else.
This is my favorite restaurant so this is of course going to biase. I've almost tried everything on the menu. If you're a person that needs a lot of options to pick from you might want to pick a different restaurant. Keep in my mind that bourbon syrup isn't for everyone so don't just pour it all over your waffles before trying it. The fried chicken and waffles are definitely enough for two people. Make a reservation your experience will be better. Also there's a beach fee of $1.00.
Decided on a road trip from West Palm Beach, looking for a great place for brunch and found the recommendation on Yelp. Wow! Was not disappointed in the least. Outstanding doesn't begin to describe our experience. From valet parking, the hostess, the wait staff, the decor and finally the FOOD...everything was top notch! I hate the fact that I can't remember our waiters name but he was phenomenal. We started out with their signature Bloody Mary's and they didn't disappoint. Had the homemade biscuits with apple butter as an appetizer...delish! Two of us had the shrimp and grits...awesome! One had the omelet of the day and the other had the chicken and waffles with spiced watermelon...oh my goodness there aren't enough words. The decor was precious and matched the name Yardbird perfectly!
Always unique and delicious! Biscuits to die for..fried chicken..deviled eggs, even mashed cauliflower! Our new favorite. Full on heavenly southern comfort food! Fun atmosphere and great service...and on this evening they offered a peach cobbler to pre-order. Of course we want one. Try the infused bourbons they're crazy good. Try everything... and share. The portions are huge. Love this place!
Yardbird LIVED UP to the hype!! Food was excellent. The quality ingredients and time to create a memorable flavorful experience will not leave anyone wanting. The MAC N CHEESE is like homemade from your Grandmama's oven. Our wait person, Raphael was extremely helpful, patience, willing to accommodate our needs, professional and extremely friendly!! IF YOU WANT A GREAT DINING EXPERIENCE ask for Raphael to cater to you for your visit. Definitely will be back...the 1,300 mile trek from Northeast Ohio is absolutely worth it!!!
