Perch LA calificaciones y reseñas
Food tasted like catered food. Not good. Almond cake for dessert tastes like biscotti- yak. Martinis came in a champagne glass. Glasses were dirty even noticeable in dim lighting. Headed to Bar after dinner. Floor sticky as hell and bar stayed wet like a vegas pool party. After the heavily tattooed bar tender seemed bothered because I asked for a specific vodka and didn't want the vodka in plastic OJ jug. And it was awfully made. Place now operates like a frat house. Which is fine, just don't charge high end prices. Lesson learned. Skyline view not worth it.
The server and hostess was wonderful. However, when waiting for our table we headed to the bar and it took us 15 minutes to get just one drink. The bartender was inattentive and rude; I had to yell in order for me to get his attention. It is a beautiful, high-end restaurant, but the bar reminded me of a crowded college bar on karaoke Thursday.
We all had a great experience. Our waiter, Matthew, was lovely and genuine. We had a vegan in our group and Matthew had some suggestions on how to accommodate his requests. The rest of the staff was great too. I could hacmve stayed call day and never felt rushed. Everything came in a timely manner. I'll always come back to Perch. I would like to know how to request fireside dining though. How do I make a special request for seating?
Fantastic venue with great cityscape for a backdrop. Cocktails were delicious, decent variety on menu, quick service and great tasting, fair sized dishes. Terrace was heated and warm enough to eat outside on a cold Feb night. Cool ambience with a decent live band. Long queues of people waiting for entry just to the bar which was a bit noisy. My wife was ID'd (at 30!) which could have been problematic if door staff had been insistent
I have been to Perch many times...the first time I went I ordered the steak frite and I can't get myself to order anything else! It is absolutely delicious. The steak can be cut with a butter knife and those fries are the best I have ever tasted. My husband ate his melt in your mouth chicken which is his favorite. The tuna tartare appetizer is spectacular. The almond cake for dessert was good but tasted a bit dry..the mound of ice cream heaped on top solved that issue but I think I would try a different dessert next time. The wait staff is very attentive and helpful. The ambience is inviting ..rainy night so the outside was not open which was too bad but the view is still as good as you can find downtown. My favorite restaurant in the city.
Worse customer service I have ever received! Rude, ignorant and unprofessional waitress. My daughter's birthday party got ruined. We just walked out after 20 min. Will never go there again and will not recommend it to friends and family
While the food was good, it wasn't the very best thing I'd ever eaten. Perch is definitely an "I came for the ambiance" type of restaurant, which is fine by me. It was raining that night, so unfortunately we weren't able to sit out on the 16th floor, but it was nice and warm inside the 15th floor (they also covered the patio section and had heat lamps).
Ambiance is super romantic and upscale, but it never felt pretentious to me. Live music was definitely loud, and I think everyone being confided to only the 15th floor made it a lot louder than I assume it usually is. The band was great, and the singer had an amazing voice. Really added positively to the experience!
My favorite part of my meal was the baked brie, which was SO delicious! The creamy, melted brie complimented the buttery puff pastry, and it was cut perfectly with the mustard aioli and tangy fennel & apple slaw on the side. I only wish the brie was bigger, it was just so good.
Overall, a good place to go on an intimate dinner with a significant other or have brunch with a good group of friends.
This was my first time at the perch and it was just great, from the staff to the delicious food. I would definitely come back again! The filet mignon was just perfect and the chicken with polenta was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.
Incredible food on the outdoor patio, enjoying views of downtown LA while enjoying the romantic ambiance (outdoor fireplace, white globe lights highlighting the potted trees, heaters making it comfortable on a chilly night). A very special spot!
The rooftop view is amazing. Unfortunately the staff is not really focused on a great experience. The bathrooms are dirty and there is an overall impression of lack of care about the space. The food is great, but does not offset the impression that Perch has had better days.
The atomosphere and view are the high points but the service is equally exceptional. The food was delicious but definately not the star of the evening. Don't get me wrong, it was great but I could find dishes to the equivilent anywhere else in DownTown. The speciality cocktails were good but not as diverse for an exceptional location.
Overall it was very much worth it. The vibe, service, view and even the food was worth it.
This is the first time I've been to Perch LA. Parking was very confusing and the entrance of the building was not easy to see. We had to take one elevator to the 13th floor and then a second elevator to the 15th floor. This place is not easy to find for first timers! However, once we were seated, everything was great! The food and service was excellent. Food portion was perfect. The view of downtown LA from the rooftop was nice.
The food was amazing! Went for an anniversary with my fiancé. Peter was an amazing host! The lighting was super romantic! He made sure everything was perfect! Would come here again! And very well priced! The rabbit ravioli and Mac and cheese Oscar styled were nicely made!
We waited 25 min after seating for server to arrive to take drink order. Not impressive especially with theater tickets. Frankly, restaurant seemed preoccupied with a celebrity guest. Very nice service when it arrived but servers kept changing. Food and wine were mediocre for price. Place feels like it wants to be in Las Vegas when just relaxing into LA might work better at least for us. Beautiful space and friendly servers when they were attentive. Maybe an off night but we were not thrilled.
Its all about the view which is lovely. The food is acceptable though the wine by the glass program isn't good at all. A real Bistrot should serve French wines. The fact that they don't, speaks to the type of clientele that this restaurant attracts.
While you might think this restaurant is all about the view, it's also about fantastic food and outstanding service. With a chance of rain, the patio was covered over, allowing somewhat blurry views of the surrounding skyline and square. Our classic cocktails were perfect, and the Little Bunny Frou Frou (rabbit ravioli) was excellent.
