TAO Asian Bistro - Las Vegas
Corporate Executive Chef Ralph Scamardella has developed a menu for the 400-seat restaurant by incorporating culinary components from China, Japan and Thailand. Signature dishes include offerings from sea, sky and land including Chilean Sea Bass Satay with Wok Roasted Asparagus, a preparation of Peking Duck that consistently receives accolades, and Kobe Beef Shabu Shabu along with a full sushi bar.
Tables too close to each other, wonderful service from our waitress
Tao has been an all time favorite in Vegas for years. We have dined at the location in NY times in between and always an outstanding meal. Honestly this time things were different. We found it extremely salty and really didn’t enjoy our appetizers and meals because of that. Especially the ckn lettuce wraps and the crispy snapper. The rock shrimp cups were good and the miso cod had a more delicate seasoning. Was also disappointed to see the original Tao-Tini recipe was changed. Our waiter was friendly and professional and gave us good service.
The food wasn’t as great as it usually is and that was disappointing. :(
Celebrated friends birthday. Staff acknowledged her with a greeting and the best birthday desert.
Service was outstanding, never left searching for assistance
Everyone from the Host To waiter manager and table clearers offered greeted or offer assistance.
I highly recommend the Sirloin Beef & Broccoli
It was more tender than most ribeyes
5 Diamond service in my opinion
I shall return.
We had their Sea bass special and the wasabi crusted filet - both were excellent! Service was even better. They have extra waiters that just hover on the outskirts of the dining room waiting to remove dishes and refill water glasses.
Todo bien con la cena
Solo el acceso al night club fue malo , muchas personas intervienen , demasiados controles , es lento e incomodo
El lugar es chico para la gran cantidad de personas que dejan entrar
Tao is one of our favourites
I was very impressed with the whole entire experience!! I definitely will be back!
Definitely would go back. Food was excellent, and the vibe is unique.
We visit Tao each time we at in Vegas and always enjoy the food and atmosphere but last night the service was poor; messed up drink orders, so slow, not attentive. We recommend Tao to friends and wont stop, but we’re very disappointed in our visit this trip.
The service was so rushed! We ordered a glass of wine and mentioned we were going to order the Peking duck. The duck came out in like 60 seconds! We hadn’t even gotten our wine. We sent it back. When we did finally order our entire meal, it was just ok. The duck was just fried , really greasy and tastless. Very disappointing.
The Cod was amazing
Food was great but confusion on who waiter was
Horrible slow service. Left without actually eating.
Always an amazing experience!
Service was outstanding. Managers took the time to chat with us about our experience. Friendly, outgoing attentive staff who kept an eye on us without hovering or even being noticed.
SeaBass and Seared Aji Tuna were amazing. The gigantic birthday fortune cookie was to the moon.
Jacobo Duran and the staff at TAO couldn't have made for a better dining and celebratory experience.
Very good! Food was delicious (Pad Thai and Thai duck fried rice)... the fortune cookie is the best!
Great service too!
One of my favorite restaurants every. It’s a must visit every time I’m in Vegas. Always so impressed with the service and quality of food.
The guest in front of us had an issue with their reservation and the manager did a tremendous job of handling the situation. He was professional, courteous and attentive to details. Everyone acknowledged our anniversary which we were celebrating, so big points for going above and beyond. It was also our first time at Tao in general (we have one in NY just haven't been). The service was amazing and Klayton? our server was awesome he kept checking on us and we providing excellent service. They also surprised us with an anniversary dessert.
Amazing ambiance / great food / great service
Thanks so much we had an amazing time!
Was here for my friends bday. Made a reservation at 8:30, and wasn’t seated until 9:10 because they were “catching up on reservations”. Like don’t overbook. It ruined the whole experience and we won’t be back.
Lisa was an amazing server you got to ask for her for the best experience
Tao never disappoints.
from the exceptional food to the exceptional service. We decided on this as my birthday dinner after being upset that the hells kitchen was sold out for the night. i do not regret coming here one bit the ambiance was nice and quite, food was delicious and not to mention the exceptional service from the waiter, i wish i could remember his name . definitely recommend this spot
The food, service, and vibe were all outstanding! We went for a birthday celebration and it was everything we expected and more!
Any item that didn’t have duck in it was subpar at best
Fun, upbeat, energetic place for specialty cocktails and delicious Asian seafood and tapas
Amazing food as always, really great server. Service was slightly slow as it was the end of the night but overall a really great meal and atmosphere. Great that they take you up to the club after dinner too.
I have eaten at Tao probably a half dozen times or so. It continues to be one of my favorites on the strip. 5 star in everything they do and every meal I have eaten.
Tao’s food is amazing! We ordered the pot stickers and the vegetable egg roll. They were both fresh and extremely tasty. My husband ordered Pad Thai and he said it was the best he ever had. Additionally, I ate the orange chicken, which was moist and not overpowering. The food was outstanding, but the best part about this restaurant is the service. The staff works as a team and they are very accommodating. They surprised us with an anniversary dessert, which was delicious!
Top food and service for reasonable prices. We defenitely will go back
I went here around 6 pm on a week night and the atmosphere was very quiet. We sat at a beautiful and large booth. The restaurant is gorgeous and our server was very attentive. All of our food came out perfectly. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
The service was great, I can’t remember our waiters name but she was awesome!!! She worked Monday night at 10:00PM. She made our date night special!!! The food was delicious and the ambiance was perfect.
Very good food! Reminds me of my childhood. Amazing scenery and tastes.
We had an amazing time. Food and service was incredible.
The food was amazing! It was a little loud, but still enjoyable! Will definitely be back!!
Tao was the perfect location to celebrate my daughters birthday. We had a reservation so there was not a wait, we were promptly greeted by the waiter who immediately wished my daughter a Happy Birthday(it was noted in the reservation). We were a group of 7 and everyone's meal came out looking and tasting delicious. If you are looking for a place to have warm intimate conversation, keep looking, this place can get loud not unbearable just a lively atmosphere. Tao is a must experience!
We made a reservation for 8:30p and arrived at 8:45p, parking took longer than expected. The hostess gave us a pager and made us wait for our last guest to arrive, who we knew wouldn’t be joining us til a bit later, so that was annoying. We didn’t actually sit down til 9:45p. I hate when they make u wait for the whole party because it pushes the entire evening back, even more than it was.
Aside from the long wait, the service was amazing, our server was friendly fly and helpful and fun! The food was so delicious and fairly priced and we definitely enjoyed the cocktail choices.
The ambiance was cool and had a modern feel. Music wasn’t too loud and we got free entry to club upstairs which was also amazing!
Tao is probably best remembered for its bumpin ambiance. The food is good, but a bit over-wrought and definitely on the expensive side. The peking duck did not disappoint, but avoid the seafood platter as its a real melange of stuff, some of which simply disappoints. It is also a high priced item. Overall, its a fun spot with good but not great food. This was our second visit and maybe our last given we spent $400 + for 3 people.
