Cecconi's Miami Beach (fka Soho Beach House - Cecconi's) calificaciones y reseñas
Cecconi's in the Soho Beach Hotel is very special. Located in an Art Deco classic, the restaurant is just past the lobby. The room looks out over the pool, and has beautiful trees decorated with white Italian lights. Flowering plants climb over the trellises. The staff is very courteous and knowledgeable. The food is excellent. Our party had the bean and lentil soup, the fried calimari and various pastas. All were very delicious. The wine selection is very large and the staff is helpful with selection. We rarely do desserts but the key lime pie was hard to pass up. Great venue; very romantic and cozy and feels very Italian. Our only complaint were the birds-- it is an open room and the small birds are okay. The pigeons are not. If I were on staff I would try to shoo the pigeons out more aggressively
The menu did not specify there was any type of meat in my pasta at all and the waiter did not tell me, and then when it came and I told the waiter I do not eat meat he very rudely said that he could not refund it and that I should have asked that question. I wound up having to pay for two entrees for myself even though it wasn't my fault because of the extreme lack of service. I live in Manhattan and dine at top of the line restaurants very often, I have NEVER experienced something like this.
Always divine! The waiter was absolutely fabulous as was the rest of the wait staff and the hostesses were very patient with us changing the size of he party over the course of the last several days. I will note they have a strict "no balloon" policy and will throw out any balloons you bring but aside from that there's nothing better than an evening at ceccioni's
Great patio seating with twinkling white lights adorning the trees. The space is divided by Pergola areas and here is space between the tables. The food is fairly typical modern Italian with both casual pizza dishes and more upscale meet and fish. Great service, buzy atmosphere.
I can't recommend this restaurant. The service was awful. I ordered a seltzer water, pizza to share with my friend, and branzino as an entree. My friend ordered short ribs as her entree.
From the moment I received my drink I knew the service was not going to be good. Someone poured the drink from a small bottle into a water glass. I would say it filled the glass about 1/4 of the way up. When the waiter came back to the table I commented that was ridiculous. His reply was, they use those bottles as mixers for drinks. (Why didn't he tell me that in the first place?) He offered me another bottle. I asked him how much the bottle was. "It's about $4.50 or $5.00." A glass of seltzer would have cost me about $10.00 and it still wouldn't have been filled. When I asked for Perrier, he said they had Pelligrino. I asked for regular water. Pelligrino is pretty flat anyway.
Then the meal was served by someone else. The pizza, was placed in front of my friend and the short ribs were plopped in front of me. I thought the short ribs looked like an appetizer and it was for another table. We of course sent it back and told him the pizza was supposed to be our appetizer and to send over the waiter. I lost my appetite at this point, because we knew nothing would come out right. We decided to cancel the rest of the order and just eat the pizza.
The manager came over and apologized. She said that it was her fault. I don't understand how if the branzino was written down in the first place, that could have happened. We never saw the waiter again. Someone else came over and we ordered tea and 1 dessert. The other servers were more attentive. There is a disconnect in this restaurant when food is ordered and how and when it is served. This restaurant is too costly for this kind of service. We were very disappointed because the food was good and the setting was very pretty.
Ordered French Toast for breakfast. It was cold. Send it back and it came out a second time, 10 minutes later, still cold. Waiter was nice and removed charge from the bill but the rest of my party had finished their breakfast so I left hungry. Lovely setting and great coffee just avoid the french toast.
We had an 8:45pm reservation. When we arrived they said our table wasn't ready, and sent us to the bar to get a drink. We sat at the bar and noticed the table next to us that had been empty the entire time we were there. We waited 45 minutes, before we went to the hostess to ask if our table was ready, only at that point to be sent to that very same table. They had forgotten about us.
Lovely courtyard with twinkling lanterns strung overhead. Service was excellent - only complaint is that the portions were tiny for fish ( added onto my salad). It was literally only 2 ounces at most. never seen such a small piece served! Not worth the price.
We were 4 ladies traveling for a fun time. It was the first time for two of them and we wanted it to be a memorable experience. We requested four separate checks. Although we insisted with two different servers they refused to do it because of "company policy"... . Rather than continue in an awkward situation I took the check ticket and divided it among the four of us according to what we each ordered. Would you think they offered at least to do this? No, what they offered was to divide the ticket in 4 ways exactly... This was not acceptable to us since we all ordered different foods and more so different drinks which are by no means reasonable in that part of the country. We rated the service very poor and specially RUDE and for that reason we won't recommend it to anyone. I'll post my comments in TripAdvisor as well.
great food. great ambience. It was my daughter's birthday and we had called in advance so they would bring her a piece of cake and a candle to sing her the happy birthday... although we called and confirmed... They just forgot to bring "the surprise".. so definetly.. no attention to details.
Love this place- great service, delicious food- they are professional and organized. The restaurant is beautiful and I love the open garden feel. I didn't realize brunch was only a $55 buffet option (which include 1 drink yikes), but it was outstanding. Beautiful traditional brunch foods complimented by pizza, pasta, meat, fish, salad, oysters, antipasto.... is didn't really have my buffet game face on so ate lightly. Next time- skip dinner the night before and pace yourself! Best for a special occasion since with an additional drink each this is a very expensive brunch
