Pod Różą Restaurant, inspired by international influences, has been boasting its own cuisine for over 20 years. You will also find here a modern touch to Polish traditions and a shortage of regional and seasonal products. The renown of our restaurant, located in the oldest Hotel in Krakow, has been appreciated by many prominent guests at the highest level. Our cuisine is famous for its own production. The tasting dinner in Fine Dining style shows the scale of the Chef’s possibilities. In the prestigious Wine Spectator rating, the restaurant’s wine list was recognized as one of the richest in the world. Seated in a splendid Krakow-style gate the Wine Bar entices pedestrians in the summer, while all year round wine lovers are welcome to the Vinoteka, housed in the 14th-century cellars. The bar in the Pod Różą restaurant is made according to an original design, combining a black oak top with bronze panels.

No lo recomendaría. A pesar de que hay que reconocer que la comida es muy buena, los platos son bastante escasos y demasiado caros. El servicio tampoco es agradable, camareras bastante secas, que además cuchichean entre ellas mirando hacia tu mesa, cosa que da muy mala impresión. El local, limpio y elegante, pero poco acogedor y carente de encanto.

We had the lunchtime set menu for an incredible 99 zlotys!! The restaurant is set within very old walls with an amazing skylight. It is all perfectly designed and dressed. The air con was much needed on such a warm day. We chose to sit opposite the kitchen (behind glass windows) and had a birds eye view of the chefs preparing our lunch. And the food! Quite simply stunning. Presentation of our starters tray was exquisite but the flavours even more so. The quantities were perfect and the courses were all balanced and none disappointed. Honestly if you are planning a trip to Krakow and you like your food, please book a table for lunch. You can thank me later.

The food and service was excellent especially the Welsh Lamb which a number of us had off the À la Carte menu. Overall would highly recommend and the tasting menu looked fantastic however we didn’t have time to try it.

Very professional and knowledgeable staff. Welcoming, well organized able to make excellent recommendations. All dishes were very appealing and tasty.
